I am producing some informational audio CD’s and want to sell them worldwide, to any english speaking locale to be specific. Ultimately I would like a no/low inventory solution whereby I upload a master of the CD to a website, who produces and ships it to the customer on demand, paying me a royalty. eg. like www.createspace.com selling on www.amazon.com
ie. I don’t really want to run an e-commerce site, carry an inventory or deal with international shipping, etc.. I just want to market the product and let someone else handle the fulfillment. The retail price will be somewhere between US$15 to $20 plus postage btw, I think.
createspace seems quite expensive vs kunaki.com into amazon fulfillment (also considering). I am not in the US so am not sure how difficult it will be joining amazon either. (awaiting email response)
Nonetheless I am looking at having many channels to deploy this product worldwide, if you can please suggest other web stores like what I have described. ie. that will handle fulfillment.
Also anyone with experience being an international organisation listing on Amazon. Or anyone who has used the services of createspace or kunaki.
Thank you.

Hello
I have been running an online canvas art retail business for a few months now – http://www.espiritoart.com
Visitors I do have have generally liked the design and functionality (although I do have some suggestions to work on), and given the low traffic, my conversion ratio is actually good. All of this suggests that I just need more people to know about it (not an uncommon problem I imagine!!).
On the internet side, I have submitted to about 200 directories, have a priority listing on a commonly used business search directory and have numerous successful art profiling sites which generate some traffic. Although an amateur I’ve also done things with stumbleupon, digg, delicious etc.
On the traditional side, I’ve had a free article in a local newspaper, and taken my work to various galleries, fairs etc.
I know there’s no one solution, but does anyone have any suggestions for low cost activities that have worked for them, perhaps if you have been in a similar situation?
Thanks a lot!

There are so many operating systems available in the market that it’s difficult to decide which one is the best. Search the Internet for information on the following operating systems, and draw a table that compares them in terms of scalability, ease of use, reliability, and cost:
Windows 2000
Windows XP
Linux
Based on the above analysis, which operating system will you recommend for the following requirements:
The finance department of XYZ Inc. has hired two trainees to work on a simple database application. Users are going to use the computer for the first time.
Smart Shoppers need to use an OS with easy to use interface and have also the capability to support dual processors.
A non-profit organization wants to host a Web site and needs a computer to host the Web site. They want a cost-effective solution for hosting the Web site.

Matey, I Know a Dead Parrot
By JIM MCTAGUE |
Barron’s Magazine
ObamaCare is deader than a Monty Python parrot.
OBAMACARE HAS KICKED THE BUCKET. IT IS pushing up daisies; has shuffled off this mortal coil. The proposal is deader than Monty Python’s famed dead parrot.
ObamaCare was put to sleep by a death panel: The American public. It has carefully read the three House bills and one Senate bill on the Internet and consequently is shaken. Numerous polls show a majority of persons desire Congress to scrap the plan and begin anew. A recent Rasmussen Report survey found that 54% of Americans don’t want Congress to vote on the measure this year.
It’s not merely the loud-mouths at the town brawl meetings who are opposed to the current bills; so are many open-minded people who have read the legislation cover to cover. They find it vague and confusing and consequently, very worrisome. They cannot decide whether they are reading boilerplate with a foundation of sound case law or the hasty concoction of exhausted aides whose ideological bosses want to railroad the plan through both houses by the fall.
My favorite example of this bewilderment is Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker, who, on August 12, tried to skewer Sarah Palin for her claim that under ObamaCare a death panel would deny treatment to her elderly parents and Down syndrome child. Parker inadvertently makes the case that Palin’s reading is defensible. She writes, “The bill is an enabling document that leaves great discretion to the Secretary of Health and Human Services to develop guidelines that ultimately could change the character of what seems to be offered.” Parker concludes that people correctly fear bureaucracies and have a right to clarity from lawmakers.
AS IN THE MONTY PYTHON SKETCH, in which a pet-shop owner repeatedly denies that a certain dead parrot is dead, the purveyors of Obama’s health-care turkey claim it is merely stunned. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says the public has “misconceptions” and that our President soon will set them straight. (For the sake of comparison, I urge you to view the parrot sketch on YouTube.)
Misconceptions? Clearly, people are revolted by the plan, a fact that hasn’t been lost on many lawmakers up for re-election next year. Americans, it turns out, retain a preference for private-market solutions and not big-government solutions. Senators talk of slicing and dicing ObamaCare like a turkey so they can digest it one piece at a time.
Divisions within the Democratic-controlled Congress are as much the cause of ObamaCare’s cardiac arrest as is any quackery from right-wing radio hosts and preposterously venomous protesters. The party’s liberals won’t vote for any bill that doesn’t include a government-run insurer. Party moderates and conservatives won’t vote for a plan that does include it. Liberals want a bill at almost any price tag. Party conservatives and moderates fret about the budgetary impacts, which could exceed $1 trillion over 10 years.
In any event, there isn’t enough time left on the legislative calendar to work out these significant differences. No appropriations bills have been passed. The Senate must vote to raise the debt limit. A predicted flu pandemic might disrupt deliberations.
Just like Monty Python’s parrot, not even 4,000 volts can jolt ObamaCare back to life.

we are a small company and we just decided that we need to market ourselves better on this powerful internet media.
Our new strategy is to encourage Bloggers to write about us/our product (Good or Bad) on their own blogs and then we give them away a few free samples of our products !
We are sure, we would get a good response to this. But we only want to give it to bloggers who meet the minimum standards or in otherwords who are ‘genuine’. So what standards do we need ? How can we judge if one is genuine or not?
P.S:
1) Its not who writes first, its who comes with a full proof plan
gets the points.
2) I dont need new marketing solutions or advice. Thankyou.
What all I need is written standard which helps me judge if a
blogger or genuine like:
a) How to really know if the persons who claims it owns the
blog,
b) How much does he have to write
c) etc..

I have been contemplating going back to school for web site design and internet marketing. I just wonder if there is really money in the field? Is anyone out there making a real living off of it and is it better to go it alone (opening my own design solution business) or to take a job with an established company?
