I want to have a web site designed to market a service I want to provide. First of all, do I have to upgrade from my dial up internet service to do this? And secondly, if I look for someone to do this for me who isn’t a professional but just a geeky computer nerd type kid who would know how and could use the extra money, what’s a reasonable amount to pay?

I just recently opened a business geared only towards medical professionals and I dont know a thing about marketing and advertising. What is the best way to market my company to medical professionals with a budget of only $100 per week. I have done the Pay Per Click search engine and that is drumming up some business but are there other ways? Also someone told me I needed to use the internet for “viral marketing purposes”. I am currently looking for another job, and everytime there is a job in the paper, or on the internet that is in my field, I automatically think I am not good/smart enough for that job. Very recently I attended an introductory seminar conducted by a prominent Internet business promoter with a very good reputation, and I signed up for a retail website through which I will market various products. Soon I will be attending a followup Internet Workshop at which I will receive training and an opportunity to purchase the “Professional” version of their offering. Can anyone tell me what I should expect the financial offer to be that they will extend to me, i.e., the cost I would incur? I am trying to plan for this, and others’ experience in this sort of venture would be most helpful.

My car lease is expired and I am shopping for a new one. Money aside, which is a better car? The 2008 Mercedes C300 or the 2008 BMW 3.28i coupe? They are different makes and models but I need help deciding and would like educated opinions on these cars.
Finances are irrelevant because the cars will cost me about the same. I would like honest, intelligent ideas on which car is better regarding their drive & look.
About me, I am a 27 yr professional living in San Diego. I own an internet marketing agency. I am looking for a car that projects the image of a successful entrepreneur.

How Do I Strengthen My Wireless Internet Signal?

I have Comcast Internet and in order to network my house we bought a Netgear Wireless N router, one of the best on the market according to many professionals and computer magazines. We figured this would provide us with the strength needed to network our house but it didn’t So we got a second one of these Netgear Wireless N routers to act as a repeater. Unfortunately, between the main router and my room (about 65 -70 feet away), the internet signal seems to get lost. I still have my local signal at full or almost full strength but no internet signal and when I do I only have tops 2 mbps when my wired connection tops out at 20 mbps. My friend whose tech savvy said that’s no where near Wireless N speeds or even Wireless G speeds (my computer only picks up on the G signal). So I want to know if there’s anyway to prevent the internet signal from getting lost in translation here. The routers have internal antennas, which point in all directions and like I said, I have a problem with the internet signal, my local signal is fine.

Relocate For Internet/new Media Jobs?

Hello, I am contemplating relocating to NYC or LA to find work in the internet field/new media, would this be a wise move.?
I am in the state of Florida, and I have seen similar web jobs in Florida, in california for 60-80k, I know cost of living is very high but thats where all the web companies are, NYC, LA, and San Francisco and will always be, in my opinion.
I know their is competition, but at least their would be more job postings, web jobs are few and far between in Florida, compared to NYC or San Fran. just look on craigslist under web/info design. These skills are too specific for a small market like FL.
Could a young professional(a couple yrs in web development, move to one of these areas and find work, because I cant find it in Florida.(have been looking for stable work for almost 2 yrs)
I also realize their is a lot of contract work, but to me, finding more contracts would be easier in a larger market like NYC.
