My company is a internet portal online service providing through out the world I want unique name for my company which represent whole world, people, start with “E” & “S” character having beautiful mean. My company is also related to advertising & Marketing.

I have a website (www.de——ort.com) that is a startup importing website going retail so we can offer the cheapest prices on high-quality stuff, but we don’t have the millions of dollars for advertising. In fact, we have about $5.
How does a no-name company with some pretty good stuff get their name out on the internet?
PS: Site’s still under construction, cause we have about 500 or so products to put up. As of current… We only have 8 posted.

I am manufacturing the product which is used in Pharma Companies and Food Industry in their floorings.

My friend and I are thinking about starting up a website. The topic we have in mind is camping in New Hampshire. He has more experience with it than I do. We would probably give information and reviews about camp sites, attractions, and tips for camping in New Hampshire. The market in New Hampshire is relatively small as it is a small state, but per capita there are definitely a lot of people interested in camping here. If the site became successful we would consider expanding to other states.
Now my question is this: I’m looking at this from a business perspective. Our target market is pretty small compared to other websites, but we expect people from other New England states who vacation in New Hampshire would also visit our site. What I want to know is how much could we expect to make in advertising money per month. How much would we make when we’re just starting our, and how much when we’re established and have a good user base? I’m new to the internet business, and I’m also wondering do sites like this ever recieve offers from other companies or individuals to sell? If so how much would a site like this sell for once it is established? I understand the value of both advertising and the site are subject to about a million factors, but a rough estimate would be nice. Unfortunately I can’t really give you an estimate of the number of users we would have to base your numbers off of. Thanks.

Hi guys, this one if for all marketing / advertising professionals:
Government in my country plans to issue special cards for all drivers that will store all personal data and be used to pay fines / utilities etc. The size of a typical credit card, chip, stripe and all that..
They want to sell 4 small spaces on the card where a logo can be placed.
As this is not a typical advertising medium, i do not know how to calculate reasonable price for that space. My idea was to draw a comparison to the outdoor media, i.e. what a client could get if he went for the cards instead of billboards.
I do not have much time nor money to do an extensive research, and there are some other conditions for an advertiser:
1. Company can take no less than 100,000 and no more than 500,00 cards;
2. Total number of cards will be 3,000,000;
3. Space is rented out for the whole period only, which is 36 months.

Microsoft and AT&T are complaining that this acquisition will/has transformed Google into a monopoly. It’s scary to think that these large multi-billion dollar companies, who have both been accused of holding too much share over their markets, are cringing in the wake of Google’s acquisition of DoubleClick. Ecommerce Marketing is a company that supposedly handles advertising for people with internet businesses. These people took $3,000.00 from me, promised alot and did not deliver. They will not answer my phone calls or emails.
Any time anyone ever does business with anyone please, please, please check with the Better Business Bureau before you do. And, beware, they do have companies that look like the better business bureau, for example one is called the online business bureau, Not the same thing!! Watch out folks, there are bad people out there!

I just started a new company that is going to be internet based. It’s an LLC and I plan on including many websites within the one business. My first website is almost complete. My question to you is: What is the best book out there that teaches you how to make money online with your business/site? I’ve read Scott Fox’s Internet Riches which touches on a lot of things but I’m looking for a book with greater detail on how to get paid from advertising, affiliate marketing, dropshipping strategies, etc. Do you know of any up-to-date book like this? I’m currenlty 16, a senior in high school, and I am eager to major in advertising/marketing. I sent my resume to Bankers Life & Casual Company, and they responded to request an interview.
However, I’ve read many reviews on the internet, and so far, there are more complaints than compliments.
But in my defense, I’m hoping that working at this company will give me work experience with sales, which will probably help me look good for college. Man described as a top spammer arrested

A 27-year-old man described as one of the world’s most prolific spammers was arrested Wednesday, and federal authorities said computer users across the Web could notice a decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.
Robert Alan Soloway is accused of using networks of compromised “zombie” computers to send out millions upon millions of spam e-mails.
“He’s one of the top 10 spammers in the world,” said Tim Cranton, a Microsoft Corp. lawyer who is senior director of the company’s Worldwide Internet Safety Programs. “He’s a huge problem for our customers. This is a very good day.”
A federal grand jury last week returned a 35-count indictment against Soloway charging him with mail fraud, wire fraud, e-mail fraud, aggravated identity theft and money laundering.
Soloway pleaded not guilty Wednesday afternoon to all charges after a judge determined that — even with four bank accounts seized by the government — he was sufficiently well off to pay for his own lawyer.
He has been living in a ritzy apartment and drives an expensive Mercedes convertible, said prosecutor Kathryn Warma. Prosecutors are seeking to have him forfeit $773,000 they say he made from his business, Newport Internet Marketing Corp.
A public defender who represented him for Wednesday’s hearing declined to comment.
Prosecutors say Soloway used computers infected with malicious code to send out millions of junk e-mails since 2003. The computers are called “zombies” because owners typically have no idea their machines have been infected.
He continued his activities even after Microsoft won a $7 million civil judgment against him in 2005 and the operator of a small Internet service provider in Oklahoma won a $10 million judgment, prosecutors said.
U.S. Attorney Jeff Sullivan said Wednesday that the case is the first in the country in which federal prosecutors have used identity theft statutes to prosecute a spammer for taking over someone else’s Internet domain name. Soloway could face decades in prison, though prosecutors said they have not calculated what guideline sentencing range he might face.
The investigation began when the authorities began receiving hundreds of complaints about Soloway, who had been featured on a list of known spammers kept by The Spamhaus Project, an international anti-spam organization.
The Santa Barbara County, Calif., Department of Social Services said it was spending $1,000 a week to fight the spam it was receiving, and other businesses and individuals complained of having their reputations damaged when it appeared spam was originating from their computers.
“This is not just a nuisance. This is way beyond a nuisance,” Warma said.
Soloway used the networks of compromised computers to send out unsolicited bulk e-mails urging people to use his Internet marketing company to advertise their products, authorities said.
People who clicked on a link in the e-mail were directed to his Web site. There, Soloway advertised his ability to send out as many as 20 million e-mail advertisements over 15 days for $495, the indictment said.
The Spamhaus Project rejoiced at his arrest.
“Soloway has been a long-term nuisance on the Internet — both in terms of the spam he sent, and the people he duped to use his spam service,” organizers wrote on Spamhaus.org.
Soloway remained in federal detention pending a hearing Monday.

I have 2 yrs 6moths of exp.

I work for a small company & I do all their advertising & marketing layouts internally so they don’t have to pay for an outside advertising agency. We use internet & e-mail marketing extensively & I am the only one that knows how to layout HTML/Java & interactive image layouts. This saves our company thousands of dollars a month.
Now my boss wants me to teach her how to do this step by step, but I am really hesitant to share my knowledge. I feel once she knows how to do it, I may not be as valuable to her. And with the economy being on shaky ground, I can use all the job security I can get.
