Six Mistakes to Avoid in Video Marketing
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
Video marketing is very important for an online business today. However, there are many ways that a business will fail when they practice the wrong techniques. It is important to utilize video properly so you are successful with your efforts to increase website traffic.
There are many common mistakes people make when they are attempting a video ad marketing campaign. These mistakes can cost a business their success. Here are six things you should avoid when you practice video marketing.
1. Use the wrong camera. If you have a camera on your cell phone it doesn’t mean you should use it for professional purposes. The quality of the resolution and picture are very poor coming from a cell phone. Never shoot your videos from a cell phone or a digital camera. Be sure to have a high quality camera so you shoot a high quality video.
2. Shooting a video in a garage. One of the biggest mistakes is the location people choose. However, you can produce a video anywhere you want to but you must be mindful about the background you have. It would be wise to invest in a backdrop for your video marketing if you are limited on space.
3. Not editing the video. Many companies shoot a video for their video ad marketing and they don’t edit it. They shoot the video and walk away. This leaves space and extra breaks that are unnecessary. This may also cause a video to be far too long for the customer’s attention span.
4. Not marketing. When you have a video online you have to market. You can increase website traffic when you create a website page for the video and get the word out the video is ready for viewing. Who will know your video exists if you don’t practice the right methods of marketing?
5. Using the wrong person. Many video marketing ads fail because they use the wrong person in the ad. Let’s face it. You need someone who is pleasing to look at and who has a voice that is pleasing to hear. A scratchy or screechy voice will only drive customers away. Someone who looks funny will only cause customers to focus on how strange the person talking looks and not on your product. Make sure the ‘face’ of your video is someone who is nice to look at.
6. Not taking advantage of the opportunity. Video marketing is another opportunity to drive more traffic to your site. You must do everything you can with your videos. This means placing keywords in the video as an overlay. These keywords are also beneficial for search engines too. Always put your company URL in the video too.
Video marketing campaigns can go wrong in so many ways. It is important to consider many things that you should not do when you are shooting a video. These things include using a poor camera, an unattractive person, no backdrop, no editing, no marketing, and not properly taking advantage of the opportunity.

How complex is your website? You should discuss the complexity of your site with a developer, they are good with graphics and admin of databases. Obtaining help from an internet specialist will assist in determing the appropriate type of hosting.
Some web hosting services are provided for free but you have to put up with ads that are on the top or bottom of your web site and those ads might not be conducive to the web site that you have developed. Google Wealth Maker Review
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
Hello. My name is Joe C and I decided to write this article about the google wealth maker software because there is a lot of talk about it at the moment.
Google wealth maker was created by Eric Rockefella, He is responsibe for the product the affiliate conspiracy that was a big hit.
You may have realised that the software claims to get you a top 3 listing in google within 24 hours.
Are you sick and tired of getting slapped around by google? I sure am. I wish I could get my site listed at the top of the search engines for every keyword without paying those terrible google adwords costs. Well its looking very possible to do this with the google wealth maker system
Many people spend thousands of dollars on google adwords and building lists, but now with google wealth maker you can build a list for free.
Say for example you would like to build a list on weight loss, You could then create a webpage with an optin box and with the software get that page listed at the top of google. This will get free traffic and free subscribers that you can market to.
If you have thousands of subscribers that all know your name and the word gets around that you know what your talking about then people will come to you for information and to buy what you recommend.
I just found out that the software cost over 23k to build! This shows me its going to be some thing good. And you will be able to get the software for a low price.
Eric himself generated over $14000 in two weeks with the google wealth maker software.
I think the feature that most people will be looking forward to is that you can get your site listed on the front page of google in under a day or 24 hours.
I am very excited about the google wealth maker software and I recommend you check it out, as it certainly looks like its going to be something big!

5 Steps to Revving up Your Creative Juices
Filed Under Marketing Strategies | Comments Off
If you you fall fowl of the the 9 to 5 grind, and find your creative juices waning, then you need to figure out a way you can keep your creative juices flowing, and fast!. The best way to do this is to have a plan, then follow through with your plan – every day. In this article, I will give you a five step success plan that will keep your creative juices revved to over flowing.
Make the time:
If you can’t find half an hour every day that could be put towards imagination, then you’re not trying hard enough. Even just time spent commuting could be time spent constructively day-dreaming. And when you’re doing chores it’s a great time to let your mind wander.
The next best time is 10 minutes before you go to sleep, as your mind is most relaxed at that time – or at least it should be.
Hold onto a 3X5 card wherever you go:
Sadly, ideas don’t always come when we want them to, they come when you least expect it; when you’re shopping, walking the dog or watering the flowers. So always carry a 3×5 card with you, and a small pencil. Then write down those bolts of genius when they appear, then take those ideas into work with you, and use them!
Set your alarm a little bit early:
The mind is supposed to be the most alive when you first wake up. If you wake up a couple of minutes earlier, you’ll get some extra time to let the creative juices going.
Take a moment to ponder:
Ask crazy questions like, “What exactly would I do if I had no limit in spending that I now have and would still succeed?”
Define your USP:
In your creative moments be sure to think about your company’s USP, as it’s important that this is crystal clear and concise. Creative ideas are wonderful but if your USP is not clearly stated, the benefits of your product and/or services will never shine through.

Niche Article Marketing
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
Article marketing is so effective that other webmasters call it a “magic pill”. Imagine generating qualified traffic to your site just by writing and submitting articles. And yes, without the need to shell out money to advertise because it is absolutely free.
Don’t know where to submit your article? There are “directories” of article directories, functioning like “search engines of search engines”, a-plenty. They not only find you multiple article submission sites; they’ll even break down the article submission sites into “niches”, so you’ll know to which ones to you can most effectively submit your articles.
Submit to article directories. This is one of the best ways to get quality link to your website. One article equates to one link, so submit as many as you can. Make sure though, that you follow the article submission sites guidelines so you won’t get banned.
Article marketing lets your reach your target readers without the need to pay advertising fees or doing the tedious task of link building. Based on studies, using this strategy can pull up your ranking in as little as 15 days depending on the number of your submissions and their quality.
Reputable article directories will have templates that you can follow, in case you doubt how the articles must be formatted. Such templates are usually found at the bottom at the page. When it comes to article submission the optimal length is generally 1000 words and you are best served if you stick to the word limit.
If your website has several pages, each dealing with a different theme, it is advantageous to write an article on each different theme, and provide a link to each page on your site. Once you have covered each page with an article, go back and start again with different articles.
Go with the best publishing sites. Submit your articles to submission sites that have quick review and posting time, have steady and huge traffic, and those that are indexed by Google. These are the sites that can give your articles maximum exposure to increase their chances of being picked up and republished.
The more links your website receives over time, the higher it’s pagerank will prove to be. Since Google puts a lot of value on pagerank when it comes to search engine rankings, having your pagerank as high as possible should be a must-do on your website promotion agenda.
One of the ways to make sure that your lucrative article marketing is really bringing in profits is to test each aspect of your campaign. When you do this you will find the areas that are successful and those that are bringing little or no traffic. In this way you can build on your successes and learn from your mistakes.
Empowerment and education is your main objective in distributing your articles. You desire your readers to better understand the message you’re intending to convey. So use simple terms as much as possible.
If you have the budget, invest on reliable article submission software that can electronically submit your articles to hundreds of publishing sites so you can save more time that can you spend on multiplying the number of your articles.
Use only original articles on your website. You are the only one who have control over your webpage, so you must be particularly careful on the content that you will put in it. To avoid duplication, make sure that your website content is fresh, unique, and all original.
Optimizing your article submissions with key words, titles, SEO (search engine optimization) and sentence structure is absolutely vital to any successful article submission business.
If you are having trouble getting started, have a look at published articles on the same subject as you intend to write about. As with any subject these days, there is plenty of good advice on article writing flying around the net, you just have to go and look for it.
Make no mistake about it, article marketing is one of the surest and fastest ways for you to very quickly establish a reputation in your market and build up credibility in a very short time. That’s the power of article marketing.

While article marketing provides you a simple and effective way to market your business, understand that the entire process involves an intricate web of individuals. The three main groups that make article marketing possible are the authors, the sites that are looking to publish, and the article directories themselves.
Article Submission one of the more popular methods of “Organic Search Engine Optimization” which helps in generating quality targeted traffic and back links to a site. Apart from this, Article Submission is a great way to let readers know more about your business and what unique services you can offer them.
Develop a writing and submission strategy that provides a constant stream of information for your readers. Writing on a frequent basis allows you to establish a valuable online presence. You should aim for a constant stream and not a torrent followed by a drought.
Submitting articles through directories does not take up more than ten minutes of your time (excluding actually writing the article) and once submitted it becomes searchable on all search engines and if posted on your website as well, helps with search engine optimization.
When writing articles, be sure to use sound principles. Your articles will show up on more websites, ezines, newsletters, and article directories. Make sure you know your target audience, and write articles that your readers can relate, understand, and enjoy.
Be cautious of making the most common mistake known to private label articles: getting lazy. Put it in your mind from the start that copying and pasting the article for submission is a bad idea.
Article submission is generally free, though software that is available to speed up the process can be expensive. There is free software available, but the range of directories the free submission services submit to is very small, and does not generally cover the best.
Multiplying your article marketing business takes a lot of dedication and hard work but the results you can expect in the long run are beneficial. This is because article marketing has the ability to increase your revenue if you utilize the proven and tested strategies.
When you submit multiple articles instead of submitting one article and then writing another one for later submission, this actually reduces your time such as logging in and opening up the page to submit article. Also, when you have numerous articles submitted within a shorter time frame such as 15 minutes, you will see your articles approved faster.
Most article submission sites require a summary of the article, so you can write a short paragraph that presents the main ideas of your article. Some sites allow authors to use a paragraph right from the article, while others require an original text as a summary.
When you add your link to your bio at the end to the article, backlinks to your site are created when the article is published in multiple locations on the web. This can help with your search engine ranking and provide tons of natural search engine click throughs.
Easily get your articles read with these three key tips. Imagine that you’re writing your articles to an eighth grader. If a child can understand the information, more people will read them as people don’t have the time or desire to read complex writing. Focus on submitting your articles to leading submission sites. Make your articles search engine friendly.
Today is an era of knowledge dissemination through the web. This knowledge collection or dissemination is done by writing articles and submitting them online. While submitting an article online few basic points should be kept in the mind.
One word of caution regarding the number of links placed in your article. Many marketers will include so many links that the article just becomes an ad in a longer form. This will definitely get your rejected and maybe banned if it occurs too often.
One of the best ways, and a productive way to drive traffic to your site is through writing and submitting articles. Over time you will also make a name for yourself as an expert in your field of interest. In order to gain victory from your articles, be sure and take the time to put some extra effort into your writing.

The Reality of Link Building
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | 1 Comment
In their effort to create valid and relevant search results, Google’s complicated algorithm is ever changing. The key to ensuring that your site shows up at all in search, and particularly high enough to get some traffic, is factoring in the importance of inbound links. It is impossible to say exactly how many links you need, what kind of links, or why some links seem to work more than others. But with experience and research, you can learn how to work towards that perfect mix of links that will signal to the search engine spiders that your site is indeed worthy of the Top 10.
But first to point out the obvious, without a decent, valuable site, your link building will be wasted. Search engines try and mostly do reward sites that are relevant to search terms, useful to visitors. So gaming the system without trying to truly have a worthwhile site will not work. It may work for a short time, but for longevity, you are still wise to focus on what the visitor wants and needs.
However, in this day and age you absolutely cannot ignore the massive amount of SEO work that must be done if you want to show up in search. Unless your site just naturally refills itself with content every few days, unless you are a rockstar in your industry and people just link to you all the time for fun, then you will have to manipulate your site to be what the search engines want too. And for most of us, it is just not all that natural to keep writing articles, more and more paragraphs of words. At some point it is just sheer nonsense, continuously adding content whether the visitor needs it or not. But alas, it must be done.
So accepting that you will have to manipulate your marketing plan for the search engines as well as visitors, you will embrace this intimidating link building campaign. You must get links. Gotta do it. No getting around it. And link baiting, enticing people to link to you by offering rich valuable content, or free widgets, or press releases, is a big part of it. But baiting is just not enough for most sites, you will have to do active building the hard way: one at a time or buying them. You will want lots of smaller links, and a few big boys. Some links in content from a high PR will work magic on most sites, especially mixed in with the average links. A few authority links such as EDU links or GOV links will complement your smaller links and give you a big boost.
Link campaign tips: Keep it well rounded. Work towards a mix of high PR links and lots of smaller ones, even PR below yours. Shoot for links in content whenever possible, they are still absolutely the best. Keep the timing natural, you do not want tons of links showing up at one time, it is unnatural. Use a variety with your anchor text, do not overoptimize for one keyword. And point the anchor text to the complementary internal page, not just the homepage.
Sounds like a lot of work? The best link building is just plain time consuming, there is no way around it, and more and more companies are hiring it out in some fashion.

The Underlying Method of Ranking Well with Search Engines
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
I have been able to successfully operate several web sites over the last couple of years. I have been able to develop a process to get the sites listed in the search engines in a short period of time. I have been able to hone that same process to get a few keywords for each site highly ranked so that they can enjoy the buoyancy effect of having just one or two keywords ranked highly. The buoyancy effect is when one or two keywords lift the rankings of the rest of the site.
I like to review a handful of concepts with the design team before we launch a new site. I like to start by checking for H1 and H2 tags being used throughout the main pages of the web site. Search engine spiders are quick to notice and crawl text in these tags, so they are important in helping the spiders to understand the theme of the site. With good content and the right tags to support them, the site will quickly be crawled by the spiders, the theme will be correctly derived and the search engines can start sending traffic to the site when people request information using the keywords.
I look for anchor text being used in the text on the home page. I have helped many website owners to achieve better rankings by having them remove images where the important message of the site, what it is all about, is embedded in the image. The simple fact is that, while it may look more attractive to the user, the search engines cannot read images and pull text away from the image, so it is not worthwhile to put the important message of the site in the image. I recommend using a smaller image and having the text be in a prominent position so that the user can click and go instantly to the point of interest.
For each main keyword in the site I like to have a unique page that highlights it. Search engines give intrinsic value to pages that contain the keyword in the name and title of the page, right in the html name. For example, a page written for diamond rings should contain anchor text for diamond rings in the home page and be named the same as the anchor text. When this naming and anchor text convention is used the search engines will instantly award the right theme and indexing for the keyword.
I then move my efforts to looking for dashes and underscores in naming conventions. There are many solid examples of pages indexing better using dashes and not underscores in their name. I have no clue as to why this is but it has been proven so we should all follow the rule. If all else is equal, two pages named search-engine.htm and search_engine.htm will not rank the same. There have been lots of studies done to support this theory so I always remove the underscores from all file and page names.
Finally, a great question to ask yourself is what the search engines think the theme of your site is. The Google Keyword Tool is one of the best ways to find out the theme of the site from a spiders perspective. You will enjoy finding out what the search engine thinks your site is about by reviewing the keywords that it brings back to you. Many people are surprised to find out that what they intended the site to be about is not at all what the search engines believe it is about so we go about fixing the issue. I am usually able to quickly remedy the situation by highlighting keywords through H2 tags and by adding no follow rules to the links that are inside of the site. The mismatch situation can easily be turned around if the search engines do not agree with the theme of your site.

Piggy Back on Your Competitions Products By Using Your eBooks
Filed Under Marketing Strategies | Comments Off
Creating an eBook allows you to use it to cross-promote it as a free bonus with another person’s services or products.
I know some of you are thinking, ‘What?’ That’s exactly what I mean. I’m saying approach maybe your competitors who are out selling competitive products to you and say, “Hey, would you be interested in adding to your current package?”
You are giving them a very easy way to add value to their existing products or packages, which is something people are always interested in doing for their customers.
What’s the incentive for you? It enables you to cross-promote your products or services.
It seems pretty simple. You talk about your own products and services within the pages of the eBook and gain customers right?
You have to make sure that you don’t make your eBook one big promotion for your own product or service or nobody will take you seriously and it’s doubtful your competition will bundle it with their own package to begin with.
One of the strategies that I teach people when we go through the mechanics of actually creating your very first eBook, is I talk about how to integrate cross promotion within your eBook so it doesn’t come off like a sales pitch, yet you still get the benefit of informing people of your other products or services. So I want you to constantly think on that road, too.
You want to make sure that your first and primary focus is giving quality information. Doing that is a sales tactic all on its own. People will learn to know, like and trust you on their own. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to throw a few links and information about your products though!
You should really be asking yourself, “How can I cross promote within my eBook so my competitors can give it away as a free bonus to the same particular target market I work within? How can I do this by still providing them quality information but making sure people will learn about me and my products which will generate me leads?”
So next time you create an eBook, try to think of other ways you can use it. This cross-promotion strategy is just the tip of the iceberg.
May ideas come to you when you need them the most.

How to Beef Up Your Direct Mail Campaign
Filed Under Marketing Strategies | Comments Off
Your grandpa’s marketing campaign of sending out flyers and letters, is just that: grandpa’s strategy. It’s old, slow, and just doesn’t appeal to people the way it used to. Nowadays people are “pushing their envelopes” with new strategies- ones that work in the present.
Prospects spend literally three seconds when they first pick up an envelope to decide whether it’s worth their time to open it. Therefore, direct marketers believe it’s best to push their best features but this does not always work successfully.
The envelope has one role and one role only; to carry the items it contains within it to the person to whom the envelope is addressed. That’s it. The resulting fact has forced copywriters to dream up inventive ways to tease, and entice prospects to open the envelope, and read the sales copy within.
One company decided to test regular envelopes with designed ones to see which ones would entice prospects more so.
What they discovered:
They discovered that when the reader couldn’t determine what the offer inside was, they felt they were missing out on something great, and were more inclined to open the envelope. They felt these feelings more acutely, if the envelope was sent by a brand they knew very well or had a good long standing reputation with. The reader also wanted to know the offer first before deciding whether or not to reject it.
There are some fantastic lessons to be learned here, namely…
Don’t overdo it
Don’t reveal everything on the envelope. Timing is key to establish a great relationship.
Build a relationship
If the mail is addressed to an anonymous addressee, then the “recipient” won’t feel that it’s even meant for them. Find out the name and title of the people you’re sending offers to and find out if they’re the sort of people who even want to receive them. Just as it doesn’t make sense to waste your own time on someone who’ll shred your offer in an instant, it doesn’t make sense to waste time to shove it in their mail box.
Address their Names by Hand
If you take the time to handwrite their names, then some of your list will take the time to open your envelope, and read what’s inside. Nothing makes a bigger or better impression then handwritten notes, and envelopes. It’s these personal touches that add style, and class to any envelope, and indeed to any company. By deciding to write their names by hand, you put your company at a higher level then the rest, and guarantee long term faithful clients.
Put your Logo on the envelope
Your name isn’t just a way for people to find you in the phone book. Clients use it to recognize good work and consistent service. If you know that you’ve got something special to offer the recipient, be proud and let them know who you are before they get hit with the copy. It makes sense to shine this warm light on the rest of your offer. If a customer likes your company, there’s no reason to hide who you are.
Check and check repeatedly
Before embarking on any campaign, it’s important to test your envelope, and everything on your envelope until you’re sure you have the right combination that will go a long way to enticing your prospect to open it.

Paying The Mortgage With Articles
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
Article marketing is a technique of marketing the products of an industry by writing informative and short articles about it. The articles highlight the products and services offered by the business as well as provide a resource box with details of the writer’s experience. Well written content that has the ability to increase the sale of the business in the market is most crucial to generate traffic.
The actual submission process is easy. You simply register as a user, click on ’submit article’ (or equivalent) and paste your article in the space provided. The publisher will get back to you in a few days and let you know whether or not the article is accepted.
There are software packages that can make automatic submissions, but many directories have measures in place to block automatic submissions. Alternatively you could use an article submission service, but these can be expensive.
Nowadays, article submission software are affordable to almost everyone. In the long run, it is most cost effective to use an article submission software to expedite the submission of articles. Read more about article submission software at my blog and find out which are the most popular software in the market today.
One reason why you have to write your own original articles and submit those articles to article submission directories is that your listed articles will be shown in the area of organic search in search engines with high ranking. With this sense, there are a lot of opportunities to boost up your affiliate commission through your articles.
Re-write your articles. This is not usually being mentioned by article directories but it is better if you do so. Re-writing your article means changing some words including the title and arrangement of sentences but maintaining the original content
Pay attention to your content. Readers always look for great content. Something that is useful and worth reading. Hold your readers’ attention by providing them something they need and you’ll be sure that your article will be read thoroughly.
You need to know how to choose keywords that can help you get a good amount of traffic, without being too competitive to get on the first or second page. Keyword Suggestion Tool is a handy little tool that will help you to determine which phrases are searched most often on both Wordtracker and Overture.
Submitting articles to several websites would not take you more than an hour. But to optimize exposure, you would need to pound on the doors of dozens to hundreds of article submission directories. Even a 5-year old knows that is going to waste his childhood years.
If your goal is to get traffic, then submit to all the most popular directories like. Authority sites get tens of thousands of visitors everyday to even hundreds of thousands of visitors, so you’ll want to leverage on this traffic to build your business if you can.
If you are going to engage with article marketing, you better have a lot of article topics in mind. To get you organized, I suggest that you jot down all the possible topics that you would like to write about. The more topics, the better.
The benefits one gets by writing and submitting articles are worth the pain of writing them. Millions of people all around the world search the Internet daily for information, so it is up to you, how well you can present your articles and make them useful to the readers.
However, it’s not necessary that your topic must directly involve the product or service of your website. Indirectness is the best approach and you must configure your articles in a way such that you are able to provide important information to the readers. Only then will the readers visit your site.
Underneath the resource box, you type a statement giving others the right to reprint the article for free, as long as they don’t change it and keep your resource box attached. This allows others to help make your article viral.
Making money through article marketing is a piece of cake. You just have to know how to come up with quality articles and religiously submit them on article sites. Combine your writing skills and efforts with these proven tips and you’ll surely go a long way in article marketing.

How to Switch Your Website to a New Web Hosting Company
Filed Under Web Hosting, What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
It could be that the growth of your business is quite fast that your web hosting company can no longer accomodate or could be that the site you have chosen does not have the right capacity for your particular needs. In any case, the best solution to this conundrum is to switch web hosting companies. There are a few steps to take to ensure the transition from one site provider to another is smooth.
As with any type of renovation project, embarking on a web hosting company change will go much easier if you develop a plan and then stick to it. In order to ensure a smooth and efficient transfer from one web hosting company to another, you should allow yourself enough time to complete each step and then run tests for accuracy and accessibility.
This type of transition will generally require three to four weeks of planning until your new site is up and running. After determing through careful research, you can activate your business site usually within 24-48 hours.
The first, and most important, step at this stage is to ensure you do a secure and complete backup of all the files on your current web hosting provider’s site regardless of whether or not you have the files stored on a local computer. Backups are like insurance, you never appreciate having them until a catastrophe strikes. So, even though it may be tempting to eliminate this step, you may live to regret it.
It is strongly recommended that you have backup copies of script, database and server log files, as well as the HTML files. The mirrors the one on your web server makes downloading files easier and the transition is easy to transfer.
You are ready to upload your files to the new server after you receive confirmation from your new web hosing company that your file transfer protocol precedures are operational and your account has been activated.
Since you have already saved your files in a familiar directory structure, uploading your information to the new site should progress without a hitch.
Once you have finished the previous steps, the new web site can be tested to make sure every thing operates as it should.
The new web hosting company will provide the new Domain Name Server (DNS); once everything is working properly you can change your old one. The only thing left to do is relax back and let the hits begin.

A Guide to SEO For Newbies
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
Search engines are the gateway for any web business, Google being the most prominent out there. It’s important to get the highest page listing possible as few people searching for what they’re looking for, will go several pages deep into their search listings. There are companies out there making tempting promises to get you on the first page often times at exorbitant prices.
Getting organic web traffic is usually one of the most desirable goals in web promotion. This definition means when someone types in a search engine a word or phrase, these are the websites the search pulls up. This is different than the paid ads you find to the right column, which can be a very expensive route to go. Here’s what search engine optimization comes down to:
1. Content is key. Real content that is interesting for real people. Not just picking a keyword or phrase and writing a bunch of garbage that really makes no sense in order to trick the search engine spiders, otherwise known as keyword stuffing. You really don’t want your keywords to be much above 2-4% of the overall content.
2. Link backs provide validation. The more links leading back to your site, particularly links that are in contextually appropriate content, the higher your page ranking will be. Ways to get these link backs range from link exchanges with other companies in related marketing niches, to having articles about the topic or niche you’re selling to with links back to your site, to social networking sites and Squidoo Lenses.
3. New and fresh content. You can’t just post a page and expect to keep the same page ranks. Your website should have new content. This is important not just for web crawlers, but for human visitors too. If they can anticipate to read new and interesting material at least three times a week preferably more, they’ll keep returning. It takes an average of seven visits before someone takes action such as post on a forum or purchase a product.
4. Web structures that make sense. Your web site should have clearly structured navigational links, your landing page or front page should have links to everything else on the site.
5. Text rules everything in web content. Search engine spiders ignore Javascript, they ignore graphics, and until very recently, they couldn’t read text in Flash animations. If the search engine spiders can’t read it, it doesn’t get used to help your page rankings.
The real secret to long term success with web site optimization is to make sure your site is usable and interesting, both to the search engine spiders and to your human visitors. Keep adding fresh content that makes them both want to come back for more, and your site will continue to grow in popularity with both.

Website Conversion Secrets
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
Apply the three points below to any sales website to easily and quickly increase the website conversion rate.
1. Your website should load in under 10 seconds.
Use the online tools provided at http://www.iwebtool.com/speed_test or a straightforward dial-up service to check your website’s load time. You should be able to clock how long it takes for your website to load on a high-speed internet connection (i.e. broadband) in the United States.
If your results tell you that your website is too slow, then you must find the source of the latency. The two most common reasons for slow-loading websites are graphics and tables. Try scaling down your images so that the file sizes are small, but the quality of each image is maintained.
If you have navigated to a slowly loading website, you may have noticed the the entire site doesn’t appear for 20 seconds; then…POW! The entire site appears all at once. This results from creating ONE table to hold the entire sales letter.
A better way to go is to take advantage of ‘cascading style sheets’ or CSS, a novel method where content is separated from structure. It uses fewer (say, 2 or 3) areas at the beginning of a page to display content which keeps a customer busy reading; he or she hardly notices as the page’s remaining elements are loading.
2. Design your website so it is compatible with (and thus looks good on) as many sizes and resolutions of monitors as possible.
It is important to remember that there are some online shoppers who may not have one of the newer, larger and high-resolution (e.g. 19 or more inches; 1280×1024 res) computer monitors. Your site should be viewable to all internet users, including those using older, smaller, lower-resolution monitors (e.g. 15 inches; 800×600 resolution).
One of the big problems with fixed-pixel website design is that web surfers with smaller monitors or lower resolution will be unable to view the full width of your page, forcing them to scroll sideways. Side-scrolling is annoying; as a sales website, annoying your visitors is the last thing you want to do.
3. Your website should be easy on the eyes.
Are you using easily-readable, standard, and readily-available fonts and font sizes? The eyes get much more tired reading from a computer screen than from a printed page.
Here, much can be learned from direct mail marketers. They almost exclusively use 12 point courier font because it’s easy to read. As far as font availability, if you use a font that’s not available on the reader’s computer, the default font will be substituted and it may not look like you want it to.
Keep in mind when designing your website that if you have a signature made using script font, it may not appear correctly to a shopper whose computer does not have that particular font. You can ensure a more consistent appearance of your signature on your website if you scan it and use the resulting image file instead of script font.
Long passages of text should be broken up into smaller paragraphs and shorter sentences. Use plenty of white space because a lot of text without vertical space is unpleasant to the reader. Place the fine print in the required parts of your website that you hope no one visits.
Tweak your website using these three methods described, and both your customers visit times and your website sales will increase.

The online world has changed dramatically with web 2.0. Advertising on the internet is considered crucial to any business. Web 2.0 is the collaboration and info sharing between different web users. This is almost a form of word of mouth advertising but online. The web gives all people access to data about individual topics regardless of obscurity. This new form of advertising known as social networking can take time. Anything that takes time can be considered burdensome which is why you can use outsource offshore staff at reduced rates. This will be like having a team of salespeople on the internet explaining the benefits and advantages of your product and business.
Social networking encompasses many different aspects. Some forms of social networking include forums, blogs and social sites such as Myspace and Facebook. This is a relatively new form of advertising but is proving very profitable for many small to medium companies. Outsourcing offshore staff will give you access to this form of advertising at very affordable rates and saving you time.
I know it may be hard to believe but there are professional bloggers and forum employees who simply network to create links and information about products. You are able to get direct contact with people who may need your products or who knows someone who needs your services. If you are in business I am sure you are aware of the power of word of mouth advertising.
Business is about relationships. Social networking is about developing and maintaining online relationships, which can assist your business. You must be perceived as the expert in the field you are blogging or writing about. This can be achieved by writing valuable information about the topic as well as subtly mentioning your products and services. If you just advertise everywhere people will generally not read it or care and you may also find yourself banned from the forum for spamming.
Blogging resources and websites are everywhere on the net. Blogging is critical for all online businesses trying to increase their sales by driving traffic to your website. The power of blogging is in the new pages and links created on your website. This increases search engine rankings if you are able to write the blogs using keywords about your products and services.
There are both short term and long term advantages to outsourcing offshore staff as your social networking sales people. The short term advantages is the word of mouth referrals as well as the people who stumble upon your articles, blogs or forums. The other major long term advantages is the links it creates for your website. These links assist by improving your page ranking in search engines like Google. Social networking will create more traffic both in the short and long term.
Sometimes new ideas and methods create mental stumbling blocks but the reality is if you are not prepared to change, then one of your competitors will. Do you really want to be sitting on the side lines while your competitors get all the rewards? Social networking is the Internets future marketing tool.

Nofollow 101 – Understanding the Nofollow Tag
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
What is Nofollow?
Nofollow is an html attribute first introduced in 2005 by Google. Originally, the rel=”nofollow” attribute was added to discourage comment spam in blogs. Links with nofollow should not influence the link target’s ranking in the search engine.
From the Google Blog:
From now on, when Google sees the attribute (rel=”nofollow”) on hyperlinks, those links won’t get any credit when we rank websites in our search results. This isn’t a negative vote for the site where the comment was posted; it’s just a way to make sure that spammers get no benefit from abusing public areas like blog comments, trackbacks, and referrer lists.
From Google Answers:
“Nofollow” provides a way for webmasters to tell search engines “Don’t follow links on this page” or “Don’t follow this specific link.”
So the rel=”nofollow” attribute is a tool that can help define your most important links to the search engines.
Search Engines that support nofollow: Google, MSN Search and Yahoo!
History of Nofollow
Originally, the nofollow attribute was used on the page-level with a meta tag. It instructed search engines not to follow (crawl) outgoing links on a page. Example: see code example on main site
Another way to tell search engines not to follow (crawl) pages was to include them in a robots.txt file. But it was more difficult to prevent robots from following individual links on a link by link basis. The rel=”nofollow” attribute allows webmasters to easily instruct the search engine robot to not crawl a link.
How to Spot Nofollow Links?
You can install browser plugins, or edits to Chrome to show a highlighted color over nofollow links. You can also install a plugin to your blogging software.
Nofollow Implications
Links are now either dofollow or nofollow. From the perspective of building links to your site or blog, dofollow links will always give you more link juice. While nofollow links won’t either harm or help your link building. With that said, how you decide to build links with respect to the nofollow attribute (whether you want to get ONLY dofollow links or both to create a more natural array of links) will be an individual choice. How to use nofollow in link building strategy is a discussion for my next post!
Nofollow FAQs
How Do I Remove Nofollow?
1. Browser Plugins – highlights all links which are nofollow
– Chrome extension – add text to ChromEdit and follow directions – FireFox has a version of the ChromEdit called ChromeEdit Plus – Firefox plugin – SEO for Firefox
2. Blog Plugins
Wordpress Nofollow Plugins:
- Lucia’s Linky Love – Rewards frequent commenters, you can set how many comments must have been made to be awarded a dofollow link. – Nofollow Reciprocity – Detects nofollow links, if you link to a site and it is nofollow, your link to them also becomes nofollow. – NoFollow Free – removes the nofollow attribute from blog comments and inserts an image band at the top of your pages with the phrase: “NoFollow Free” (optional). – Dofollow – Simply install and activate, all nofollows are removed from comments and trackbacks. – Dofollow (WP Plugin) – allows nofollows to be removed from comments, pingbacks and trackbacks but you can also set a comment age limit as well as have nofollow removed left by user type.
Andy Beard has a list of more nofollow plugins; including those for Blogger, TypePad and Moveable Type.
How Do I Add Nofollow?
For more control of your inbound and outbound links, you can add tag rel=”nofollow” within any html tag. Example: see code example on main site
Does a link with nofollow count as a backlink?
Opinions vary on whether the nofollow attribute is completely discounted, or just given less relevance to the search engines. Keep in mind that how the search engines view nofollow may also vary. However, according to Google, that answer is no.
Why would I want to use nofollow on a link?
You might want to use nofollow on a link you don’t endorse, but has information you want to point to. On blog sites, you may want to give a nofollow link to spam comments and give credit to comments that are well thought out or contribute to your post.

Residual Wealth Marketing Software Submits 2000 Niche Articles
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
Residual Wealth Income Builder Software Program Submits 2000 Marketing Niche Articles Report. Hi welcome to the review of a Article Submission Software Bundle that seems too good to be true at first. Let me back up and say I recommend article marketing as an effective tool to market your web site or any home business. I use article marketing effectively with GDI and many other businesses.
Most are free and it is highly effective if you do your homework when you write an article. Don’t just slap up a article in 5 minutes and expect good results. Your readers expect more. They demand articles with content worthy of their blogging experience. If you have a dog walking business write about that subject. Don’t go off in a tangent and talk about dog collars, ect.
Another high recommendation is to pick your article catagories wisely when submitting to the article directories. Don’t enter every catagory known to mankind. If it’s dog walking you can select pets, dogs, pet services, but NOT cats, zoo, etc. Computers are real smart! You do want to have a good reputation. Some article directory websites will ban you if you continue with this practice.
Articles should be between 300-800 words. Do not write a whole book. Go get a publisher for that. Just kidding. We all admire you for writing an effective artice but let’s not get carried away okay. The main point of article marketing is to give them something of value and offer them your service, or direct them to your website. Don’t forget to include a backlink to your site.
Here is an example of a backlink in action. I have a fantasticArticle Marketing Softwareprogram that really delivers. When you click the link your directed to my affiliate site. This system is so powerful it is unbelievable!

All about Pay Per Click Advertising
Filed Under Marketing Strategies | Comments Off
There are several ways to do pay per click advertising. If you do not use caution you will end up losing a lot of money. Even though you are not making sales your advertising is costing you money. So how to do this correctly so that you can really get your money’s worth?
The most important factor in pay-per-click advertising is the list of keywords that you use. With a good list of strong keywords, you can bring the prospective customers to where you need them to go. They’ll buy what you want and you’ll make more money because of it. However, if you pick the wrong keywords, you might pay two or three dollars per click and still get nowhere.
There are a number of choices for tools you can use to help you choose the most effective keywords. It is wise to be aware of what you can afford regarding keywords and not use general keywords that can be pricy. Keywords like “work at home” and “home based business,” are extremely costly because of high competition, for this reason try not to do pay per click advertising campaigns in these markets. It will cost too much to be successful. Plus there is no guarantee for success.
A good way to do this is to find a niche within your market. If you are trying to sell sports clothing, do not use a saturated word such as “football” but instead put “a team name clothing” You will pay less for a keyword that is not in high demand. Plus it will be more targeted. “Football” can bring up more things than just clothing which means that many searchers will not be interested in your sports clothing. However if you use “team XX clothing” you will attract the right searchers.
Another good tactic is to use multiple campaigns. You can use a separate campaign for every NFL team. You can see which ads to use according to your budget. You will make more sales by using niche or specialized keywords, rather than general ones.
A great place to pick up good keywords is by using your web logs. You can see what keywords visitors have used to come to your site and use these same keywords in your campaigns.

Outsourcing Article Writers Can Become Your Competitive Weapon
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
Whether your business is offline and wants to go online or purely online, traffic is the key to your organizations success. Outsourcing offshore article writers could be the answer to your traffic problems. Article writing is seen as one of the best link builders and search engine optimization tools around. In fact if you were to write 100 articles using certain key words you would probably rank at the top of Google. However it takes time and effort to ensure it is done correctly.
In the world of the internet content is gold. It is essential your article provides the reader valuable information about your particular topic. You must provide original articles as this ranks significantly better with search engines. Although you are not permitted to directly promote your business there is always a section to discuss what you do and how you can assist the reader.
The problem is do you have the time and skills to become an article writer? Some people find article writing like a sore tooth. They avoid it and hope it will go away. I personally enjoy it but the reality is if you are serious about internet marketing you need to take the time to write articles of a high standard. Article writing creates many high quality links. Search engines love links that provide content about the topic of your web site or business.
The internet is the information highway. Search engines like Google still place great emphasis on the content and in particular the addition of original articles and blogs. The internet was designed to be the provider of information and many search engines still base their algorithms according to this. The algorithm is a set of criterion used to rank pages when doing web searches. Web 2.0 has created a new generation of people interested in ’swapping’ information via the web. The bottom line is search engines and people love new high quality content.
Using article writers is one of if not the best single form of search engine optimization. Whether you do it yourself or just proof read your article writers work. If you are not using this form of advertising then you are behind your competition. By outsourcing offshore article writers you can have them create many articles and have them submitted to article directories at a fraction of the cost. There are services which do this but if you want to have many written articles it will cost a small fortune.
Would being the expert in your industry help with sales and lead generation? It is now possible to write articles for the world to see on any given topic. You will be viewed as the expert in your field. This is a long term strategy but if you write just one article per day then in 2 months you will have 60 odd articles written by you. However, it can take significant amounts of time to write this many articles which is why outsourcing article writers in some degree is essential to search engine optimization.
If you are interested in article writing as a SEO tactic then the actual submission of articles and creating profiles can be extremely time consuming. There are hundreds if not thousands of online article directories so to do this will take days to submit your articles. Not only that, for maximum results you will want original articles on each directory as well. Do you have this many hours in the day? By outsourcing offshore article writers they can provide the time and resources to ensure you are getting article submissions at fantastic labor hire rates.

Social Media Brings Change to Killer Chiropractic Marketing
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
Many chiropractors go to school and gain excellent technical knowledge of their science. They graduate and start their business under the misguided notion that they need only hang a sign on their door and clients will begin flocking to them. When business takes too long to pick up speed, or even worse begins to falter, these practitioners are unequipped to market themselves. Particularly in today’s digital world, chiropractors who are willing to learn the simple techniques of online marketing will find themselves pulling ahead of their competition at an astonishing rate.
Are you still using outmoded marketing and advertising techniques? Postcards, newspaper drops, and telemarketing are pass. Networking at the chamber of commerce or trade shows generates few if any real referrals. The absolute best form of marketing available today is actually 100% free, and has been proven successful time and again.
For three years I have been teaching chiropractors and other professionals how to get the most from social media websites. I have authored and created a system of marketing that has literally transformed chiropractic as a business.
The very first time I logged on to a social networking site, I was convinced that there had to be a way to make this amazing tool work for me in my practice. I spent countless hours working out methods for generating new contacts and increasing my business online-and I found success!
During my research I observed how other chiropractors were approaching online marketing. They immediately signed up for their own profile and began spamming other members with their advertisements. Not only will this get you kicked off the website (since it is against the user agreement), but most people hate spam and the result will be the exact opposite of what you intended when you sent it in the first place. The only real way to make the most of these sites is to find a mentor; someone who has been there before and knows how to navigate the waters of Web 2.0.
While the profession and 95% of chiropractors are playing catch-up, I’ve been on the cutting-edge discovering new, and even more powerful ways to leverage these Web 2.0 technologies to create a steady stream of new patients and multiple sources of income for me and my hundreds of students. Last month was a great example, as I made over $5,000 in one month from just one video that I posted on YouTube. With returns like this for minimal time investment, many are crippling themselves by not learning how to market the proper way with social media.
Let me leave you with a couple simple tips about chiropractic marketing on Myspace. Never send a friend request without a polite message! This is Myspace 101 stuff that is very important since you want the person to know how you ran across their profile. Always include videos on your profile, as it makes people stay on your page for a longer period of time and holds interest. Now, I’m not talking of all chiropractic videos either. People want to know the real you, not just what your profession is!
The world of online marketing is new and different from what many doctors are used to, but the benefits are so great that they are now beginning to realize the potential. To learn everything you need to know, you could take a year off and dedicate your time to becoming a Web 2.0 guru; or if you’re smart, you’ll find someone who has already ‘been there, done that’ to guide you as you establish yourself as a force to be reckoned with online.

Creative Business Questions Can Get You Passed A Tight Budget
Filed Under Marketing Strategies | Comments Off
Sometimes it is difficult to start, no one starts at the top. Almost all of us have to overcome one major obstacle in the beginning.
The obstacle for many people is getting their business marketed on a tight budget. Being creative can help you get through on a tight budget and by answering some of these creative questions you can learn how to do it.
Questions such as:
1) How can I
Another creative question starter:
2) If I needed help with (blank) this person could help me. This is a fantastic question to remember.
What about this one:
3) Who might exchange for ?
What about this one:
4) How can I do this faster, with less effort, cheaper? Could I do this for free?
Try and answer this question:
5) Could I substitute ‘X’ for ‘Y’? What could I substitute to get ‘ABC’ instead of ‘XYZ’? Just think of whatever you wanted to do, how could you substitute for ‘XYZ’?
If you answer this question you will really be putting yourself in the mind frame of some of your unique and different customers:
6) If I was so-and-so, how would I solve this problem?
Here is an example: How would my wife solve this problem? How would my mentor, child, neighbor solve this problem? By asking yourself this question you really have to look at things from a different perspective.
I can confidently say that these questions, as well as others, have allowed my creativity to grow and have opened all kinds of opportunities up to me. The success of my career can be credited to my creative thinking.
Here is an example of how I used this creative questioning to overcome an obstacle early on in my career.
I decided to become a professional speaker as soon as I was done University. My focus was speaking to college and high school students about the topic of creativity. I focused on creativity because with it I was able to move from a first year failure in University to graduating being named Most Outstanding Male with straight A’s. I changed a lot between how I did things in first year to my last year, and I credit a lot of it to learning something I had become very passionate about, creative thinking.
Being a professional speaker and building a profitable speaking business was two things I didn’t know anything about though.
The first thing I did was join the local chapter of CAPS, The Canadian Association for Professional Speakers.
I remember going to one of the local chapter meetings and there was one guy there that was doing very well in his speaking career and I asked him, “What do I need to do to get to your level?” And he said, “Well Stu, it’s very simple. I’m going to give you three things to do. When you’ve done all three, then come back to me and I’ll give you some more.” I said, “Okay.”
“Number one,” he began, “You should join CAPS. By surrounding yourself with like minded people in your industry it will help your business grow.”
So I shelled out the $200 to join the CAPS organization. It was a squeeze for me. In fact, I specifically remember asking if I could put it on payments, which I did. I joined the CAPS organization.
He continued saying, “The second thing you have to do is get to the CAPS National Conference” At this point I thought to myself, ‘How am I going to do that? The conference that year was being held on the other side of Canada. With the seminar being pretty expensive itself, plus traveling costs, it was really expensive. I had no money, so everything at that point was expensive for me
This is where I started asking myself some creative questions. I needed to find a solution. I started thinking about what I had, or could do, that someone else might want and need.
At this point I wasn’t speaking very often because I had just started my speaking business. This allowed me to have time. Time to be able to do other things for someone else.
It was at this moment I asking myself, “How could I use my time to help someone else?” By answering that question I came up with, ‘Help Stu Be Like You,’ a campaign to help me get to the National Conference.
This is how I used my creative thinking. The largest chapter of CAPS in my province consisted of about 75 people. I went to one of their meetings and asked if I could have 30 seconds in front of them.
This was something new to them, no one had asked for that before. I got up in front of everyone and asked them, “When you started off as a speaker, how many of you had no experience?” With no surprise, everybody’s hands went up in the air.
I said, “Great. How many of you have attended the CAPS national conference before?” And about 75% of the room had their hands up in the air.
I said, “Of those who still have their hands in the air, how many of you feel that it would be beneficial for somebody with zero experience to get out to that CAPS national conference?” They all had their hands in the air.
“Great, I am someone who needs to get out to the CAPS national conference because I have zero speaking experience!”
Then I said, “But here’s the problem. I don’t have any money. But what I do have is time. Here’s the exchange I’m willing to make and hope that you are willing to make as well. I’ve created a campaign called Help Stu Be Like You.” And I handed out these little flyers, black and white. Basically what I did was I printed two 8×6 flyers on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet to save costs, and I just cut it right down the middle and I gave everybody in the audience one.
I continued to explain what my campaign was about, “This is what I am willing to do. I will do everything you as speakers don’t like doing or don’t have the time to do. Whatever it is, licking stamps, calling clients, writing sales letters. If you need me to I will come to your house and cut your lawn. All I’m asking in return for my time is a financial contribution of your choice.”
I could see some of them in the audience were just licking their chops thinking, “Oh my goodness. This is awesome. I’m going to get cheap labor.”
I said, “I am willing to do whatever you don’t like doing in exchange for a financial contribution of your choice, all of which will go towards getting me out to the CAPS national conference.”
As I was finishing up a gentleman in the back of the room stood up. I thought he had a question but instead he said, “Stu, I will take care of your seminar entrance fee.” Half of my costs, just like that, were basically taken care of.
Once that gentleman was finished telling me about what he was willing to contribute another gentleman stood up. He said, “Stu, I will take care of getting you out to the seminar.” Bang, Bang. In a matter of minutes 85% of my expenses were taken care of.
That is what being creative can enable you to do.
By asking myself that one creative question, I was able to come up with a creative solution that solved my problem of not being able to get to the national conference. By the time the conference happened all kinds of people had heard about my story and even had a story published about me in the national publication.
Ideas will come to you when you explore the possibilities of creativity!
Until next time!

Go to The Top of Google with Offshore SEO’s
Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) enables your business to generate more traffic and sales on the internet. Other forms of advertising like pay per click (PPC) are becoming more expensive by the day. There is a number of strategies you can use to rank higher through the natural search engine process. Offshore Outsourcing SEO staff is a cost effective and time free method to increase your search engine rankings naturally. Offshore Outsourced SEO staff are able to adopt several strategies to increase your search engine results for your business or products.
Offshore SEO staff are able to complete web code and meta data to ensure search engines can access your site quickly and accurately. SEO staff change the meta data allowing the search engine spiders and robots to judge the quality of your site according to the key words people are searching for. Many search engines see this as crucial but Google does not apply this a great deal because of ‘meta data spamming’.
Ten Seconds! That is how long your web site has to capture the readers attention. A high quality offshore SEO staff member is able to capture the reader but use important keywords to ensure your content is of a high level. By the SEO staff using keywords your search engine ranking will increase. Offshore SEO staff write in a style where the quality of the content is not sacrificed for the use of keywords. It is essential your SEO staff is able to maintain the readability of the site.
Keywords in headings are also important if you want to maximize your position in search engines. SEO staff need to be able to do this as well as maintain the standard of the sales pitch. These two elements are critical to search engine optimization and finding a balance between these is essential. Search engine optimization is a complex ‘art’ but is mandatory if you wish to run a successful online business.
For great SEO results you will need an offshore SEO Staff member who primarily operates using ‘white hat’ SEO strategies as opposed to ‘black hat’ SEO strategies. The difference is ‘white hat’ SEO staff will be for the long term where as ‘black hat’ will employ SEO strategies (short term) search engines do not approve of and can get your site banned temporarily or permanently.
Outsourcing offshore SEO staff to use as link builders is also essential for high ranking search engines. There are many ways to increase links to you site but you need to be somewhat careful as some link directories can actually have a negative impact on you search engine ranking. You need to be ranking in places that are content rich and producing documents which meet the standards of search engines and in particular Google.
Unfortunately, there are only 24 hours in the day and SEO work requires lots of time and effort. There is the learning process which takes money (for courses) and the time to learn. Then there is the implementation phase which is an ongoing time commitment if you want to achieve good results. By small and medium businesses outsourcing offshore SEO staff you can have all the perks of an SEO staff member at a fraction of the cost. The reality is there is any point having a web site if no one goes there. SEO staff can solve this problem by generating lots of free traffic and in turn sales.

Inexpensive Ways To Develop Lasting Relationships With Customers
Filed Under Marketing Strategies | Comments Off
Customers are the lifeblood of any business. Having a good relationship with them is paramount if you want to keep them coming back and have a successful business. Here are some creative ideas I want you to write down to make that possible. The focus of all these ideas is on giving to these people. Your focus has always got to be on giving first.
In all my articles, newsletters, blogs, teleseminars, products/services and everything else that I’m involved with online, I’m just constantly trying to give you as much valuable information as I can. I’m looking to build a relationship with you, and that’s got to be your focus, at all times.
How can you do that for your customers when your on a limited budget?
Number one, why don’t you create an on-line newsletter?
Insider Ideas is what my monthly newsletter was called. You can still sign up for free and then you’ll have access to a 15 to 20 page newsletter once a month that I try to share with your as much information as I can. Now preparing something like this does take a lot of time, but focusing on giving is what I try to do and I want to make sure my costumers feel like they are getting a lot of value. It is returned back to me when I get testimonials from people expressing how much information they received in those newsletters and how much they look forward to getting them.
A second option, which I actually use now instead of a newsletter is developing a blog. If you are new to the blogging world, they are basically an online journal. What is great about a blog is you can use it a variety of way. It has given me the ability to use my blog as a platform from my online newsletter. What is even better about this is that the entries don’t have to be nearly as long and it is a lot easier to keep in contact with your customer base more frequently.
Another great thing about blogs is that they can be done for free by using sites like Wordpress and Blogger. Beginners to experts can use these sites, customize your blogs to fit your needs and image, for a very cheap price – free!
If you want to see how I have set up my blog and get an idea, you can go to www.myideaguy.com and sign up for free.
It is a great example of developing an on-line blog or an on-line newsletter, and providing lots and lots of value.
Teleseminars are another great technique that you can use to build relationships with your customers. If you do this you really have to focus on the giving aspect – make sure you are always providing ample amounts of valuable information that your customers can use.
You’ve got to make it interesting and make it fun for people. Nobody wants to be on a call that’s boring and dull. One thing I love to use is hosting several contests.
You can have a contest for anything – I’ve had everything from naming a new product or service I just developed to testimonials contests and creative idea contests. Your calls should always be packed with information, engaging and make it fun. When making it fun, always remember to remain focused on providing valuable information and being of service to your costumers.
There they are! I’ve outlined really great, and cost effective, methods that you can start using today to build better relationships with your costumers and even potential customers.
