To grow your on-line business, it is essential that you get people to come to your Web site and look around. This concept is known as generating traffic.

Bringing internet traffic your way can pose as quite an intimidating challenge, as you are competing with millions and millions of other Web sites for attention. Moreover, new sites are being launched pretty much every day. Simply creating a nice site and getting it published won’t automatically attract customers. New and smaller sites are always vying for attention with mammoth, internationally known Web sites.

Why is that? Well, when people use one of the search engines (for example, Google, Ask.com or Alta Vista) to look for specific items or information on anything from shoes to business plans, they receive pages and pages of URLs that potentially include the information they seek.

This gives established mega-sites such as eBay, Amazon and Wikipedia a tremendous advantage over everyone else, as they contain these terms on multiple pages, are already well-known, and are visited by millions of people daily. Newcomers and smaller ventures with the same terms get buried deep in the search engine rankings.

Relying solely on search engine ranking isn’t the only way to generate traffic to your site, thank goodness. Experiment with different approaches for helping people to find your site. The following are three ways to accomplish that goal:

Link exchanges: The more sites that link into yours, the better your search engine ranking (i.e., the earlier your site appears on a search engine when someone enters one of the terms you use on your site). You can get sites to link into yours in a few ways, including looking for complimentary sites that might like to exchange links with you, or starting a blog on one of the blogging sites and including your link in your blog.

Write free articles for other sites: Many Web owners seek to keep the content on their sites fresh, or send out e-mail newsletters (known as e-zines) to regular customers that subscribe to them. In exchange for providing them with free material they can use, these site owners will allow you to include your Web site information within or at the end of the article, which can lead people from their site to yours.

Off-line advertising: You can advertise your Web site using the exact same techniques that brick and mortar businesses do. Put your Web site URL on everything from brochures and business cards to giveaways such as pens, calendars, coffee mugs. Advertise on television or radio, and/or place print ads.

Wholesale Website Traffic: This option is the best of them all. It requires the least work and it really gets your website real visitors fast. In a nutshell, you do not need to write anything, build links, or even lift a finger. If you choose the right company for the job, you will be seeing real visitors coming to see your website. You are leveraging their websites power to get your site popular, it is a win for you all the way. Please read on for our company recommendations.

In summary, use a variety of tactics to publicize your Web site and its URL. It makes sense that the more traffic you generate to your site, the more potential sales you will generate as well.

A search engine marketing consultant will help you develop a website which can show up very highly in search engine results. There are certain techniques which you must do if you want to ensure your website shows up. A search engine marketing consultant will also examine page optimization of your website. This is important because your website will have a set of different keywords and certain keywords are used for certain pages.

Search engine marketing services companies will focus upon site usability. This is important because you want your website to be very easy to get around so that your audience is able to find what they are looking for.

Off page optimization such as link building is the next area which will be focused on by search engine marketing services companies. Link building is important because this is a factor in search engine rankings.

Google and other search engines are the gateway to your business, and getting high page ranks somewhere in the first page of listings, is important for driving business to your site. There are companies out there that will promise you the moon, the stars, and, by the way, page rankings so high that you’ll cheerfully pay them hundreds of dollars every month for their services.

Finding tried and true ways to get organic traffic meaning being found during a regular search, not by pay per click ads as seem on the right column of the listing, is the best and most solid way to build your web site’s traffic long term. Here’s what search engine optimization boils down to:

1. Content is key. Real content that is interesting for real people. Not just picking a keyword or phrase and writing a bunch of garbage that really makes no sense in order to trick the search engine spiders, otherwise known as keyword stuffing. You really don’t want your keywords to be much above 2-4% of the overall content.

2. Link backs provide validation. The more links leading back to your site, particularly links that are in contextually appropriate content, the higher your page ranking will be. Ways to get these link backs range from link exchanges with other companies in related marketing niches, to having articles about the topic or niche you’re selling to with links back to your site, to social networking sites and Squidoo Lenses.

3. New and fresh content. You can’t just post a page and expect to keep the same page ranks. Your website should have new content. This is important not just for web crawlers, but for human visitors too. If they can anticipate to read new and interesting material at least three times a week preferably more, they’ll keep returning. It takes an average of seven visits before someone takes action such as post on a forum or purchase a product.

4. Web structures that make sense. Your web site should have clearly structured navigational links, your landing page or front page should have links to everything else on the site.

5. Text means everything in web content. Search engine crawlers ignore Javascript, they disregard graphics, and until recently, they couldn’t read text in Flash animations. If the search engine spiders can’t read it, it doesn’t help your page rankings.

The real secret of long term success in search optimization is to make your web site as usable as you can. Make it easy to navigate for real people, who want to read about your niche, and with content that makes them come back.

The internet grows exponentially with every minute. Many businesses wanting to engage in the advertising wars played out online are hoping to win over a large portion of their target market. In the process, our goal is to work out the level of intensity of our competition so we can zero in on the most effective strategy to slowly increase the number of users and visitors.

In the hopes of gaining a steady traffic flow to your company Web site, some businesses utilise paid advertising on high exposure commercial portals of the Internet. If traffic volume is already established on these large portals with a proven advertising model, this can be a great way to launch your Web site and start getting traffic immediately. Pay per click (PPC) is another great way of getting instant traffic to your website because this requires no start-up costs at all. The big advantage of this model is that you only pay for the traffic that is generated from the advertisers Web site directly to your Web site.

These two methods of advertising are good when you’re looking for a quick boost of direct web site traffic in the search engines paid query results. In direct contrast to organic search engine ranking, you are able to expose your website quickly to a potentially huge consumer market without investing long hours and the associated learning curve for more traditional organic search engine ranking.

If you were to think about the volume of existing information online you would be completely overwhelmed. It is this fact what people use search engines to help them sort through the Internet clutter and return relevant search results based on what they are looking for. These search engine tools are becoming more effective for users to access the information they want and most search engines are becoming more effective at returning useful information based on the users keywords.

Google states that you must play by their rules if you want to use their services. They are expending a lot of energy ensuring that advertisers create ads with a high degree of relevancy to their advertised Web site. It therefore stands to reason that advertisers who stray from this requirement will be penalised to the extent of removing the advertisers listing from the returned list of search query results. This is to ensure a higher quality of advertised listings and guarantee more useful information will be returned to the search engine user. More relevant search returns; more perceived value in that particular search engine.

Another technique by which to hike up rankings is by providing quality information that is both highly relevant and targeted towards a particular set of keywords pre-determined by the website. With careful market study and a study of consumer behavior, businesses can study just what keywords yield traffic, and subsequently shape their business website in order to best address the demand.

The third and best long-term strategy for increasing traffic to your website comes from the process of link building. Our goal with this method is to obtain back links from other websites that demonstrate to the search engines we have a web site of authority. Back links are simply the term used for getting other websites, preferably of high authority themselves, to provide a link on their site leading back to our site.

Link building for your website can single-handedly offer the best returns for your SEO program. Over time, the experience gained will make you more effective at choosing potential link partners and other websites to publish your links on. The returns for link building can be twofold, the first is direct page visits from the link on relevant websites, the second is the search engine ranking boost that comes from attaining relevant links.

If the primary reason for attaining back links to your website is to prove to the search engines that you are an authority site, then it stands to reason that you must also create the impression of expertise and knowledge with everything that you do. With this impression comes an increase in perceived value and trust. This trust and increased authority will as a result attract more web sites wishing to be affiliated with you. And so the cycle continues…

Another proven method for developing your linking campaign is to review services products and articles on other companies high authority Web sites. When you provide value to another person or business, you increase the likelihood of that business wanting to use your appraisal in their own advertising strategy. If they do, you stand to gain another back link to your own Web site which further solidifies your position as a site of authority.

Prior to canvassing a potential Web site to become your link partner, you should always be considering the suitability of the sites purpose. It would be counterintuitive to approach Webmasters who practice unethical seo techniques, who in the long run would do more harm for your site than good. It is also worth noting that prior to contacting a potential link partner, you should have some clearly defined benefits for why your prospect would want to link back to your site. As with any business transaction, people are more inclined to transact with you if they can see a direct benefit for them.

Relevance, congruence, and even similar reputability are just some factors that can make link-building campaigns more effective. With effective links, a business’s search engine ranking will increase.

Get Listed On Google

Filed Under What is SEO Marketing? | Comments Off

by Al Soto

Many people get themselves a website and expect that they will immediately start making tons of money. Months go by and nothing happens. A beautiful web site that does not rank on Google is like a big billboard in the middle of the desert – there’s nobody there to see it. It is imperative to show up on Google, and here are three easy ways.

Google offers an addurl page (just Google “addurl”) on which you add your web address and wait for Google to come see your site and add it to their index. The problem with this method is that Google gets thousands of requests from site owners like yourselves each and every day day. It will take Google a very long time to get to your submission request and there is no guarantee that your submission request will be successful.

Another way to show up on Google is to have Google find your site. You can try writing Articles. Google (and the other search engines as well) loves providing unique, relevant content to their customers. By writing an article related to your site content and submitting it to one of many article directories which will allow you to link back to your web site in the resource box at the bottom of the article, you can get listed in Google when they spider the new article at the directory and follow the link back to your site.

The most powerful method which happens to be preferred by Google is to have a site which you know already does show up in Google search results link back to your site. When Google re-spiders that site, it will follow the link back to your site. How long will that take you ask. Well it depends on the site that links to you. The higher the page rank, or popularity of the site linking to you, the more frequetntly it gets re-spidered and the more quickly your site will be indexed.

These three methods all work in getting listed in Google, but remember to check with Google’s terms of service to make sure your sit fits their guidelines. If your site does not fit their guidelines, it will be very difficult if not impossible to get indexed.

The best thing about Google traffic is that people finding your site will be looking for whatever it is you have to offer, resulting in much higher sales success than any other traffic could possibly offer. Put your site in a position to be found by Google spiders and your will site shall be found. Optimize your site for the right keywords, provide unique content and update it regularly, and Google will love your site. From that point on, it will be a lot of quality, targeted traffic.

One of the best ways of getting more traffic to an online business is by using an article submission directory. For people who do not know what this is and are running an internet business, they need to learn. If you have an online business, you will find that free article submissions will help you get ahead of the competition.

Websites have to work hard to get customers since many are fighting over the same customers. Therefore, you need something unique but proven successful. While there are a number of great marketing strategies, article submission is certainly one of the most beneficial.

Today, there are many great free article submission directories to look at. For this, you would need some well written articles, which you would then submit to the article directory. Remember, if you have the skills needed to write a good article that would be great but if you do not then you can always spend a little money to have a professional writer create compelling pieces.

One of the fastest growing strategies for online businesses is with online article submission. Once articles have been written, they are then sent to an article directory, which is a type of database. From there, the articles can be used to tell people about your website and the type of product and/or service that you sell.

The thing to remember with an article submission directory is that not all are created equal. For instance, some of these directories are 100% free. However, other directories will charge a fee, which varies depending on the directory site.

Now, you also want to consider the articles written too. You want a nice selection of articles, having some that will concentrate on the exact type of product or service provided and others that are used to complement what your site is all about. This way, the article submission will allow you to get ahead of the competition.

For the articles, you could have several that address the benefits of what you sell. Then, consider having other articles that would support what you sell. If you have a shoe website, one where you sell both men and women’s shoes online, you can use articles to increase traffic.

With the online article submission, some of the articles written would provide potential customers with information about brand and off-brand names. For the supporting articles, you want to have articles that might provide information on foot care, perhaps articles that would sell inserts or other accessories, etc. To reach more potential customers, you need a number of articles that are useful and effective.

Remember, whether you write the articles or have them written, you want all articles going to an article submission directory to be well written, free of typos and grammatical errors, and loaded with good information. The key is not to be too pushy. Sometimes, the small amount of money spent to have a professional accomplish the goal is money well spent.

Then, the directories also need to be researched since some are free and others are not. Do not think that free article submissions mean low quality because often these are the best. Therefore, if you find a number of directories, whether free or not, focus more on what they offer rather than price.

For your online business, you can stop wasting time and money on marketing strategies that do not work, choosing article submission instead. What you will find is that your online business gets incredible results. With a good choice of articles being submitted to directories will have excellent results. The goal is to make sure you have a good array of articles to send to the directories so you can watch sales increase for your website.

If you would like your web page to be found more often in a search engine chances are you will do what everyone else is doing and shoot for some SEO strategies to help you out. SEO is not difficult but not easy either, there are some strict rules that you need to follow to rank well on the Search Engines. Many people say MSN is the easiest SE to rank for then comes Yahoo! and finally Google. If you are going to use SEO strategies for your web page you will need to focus on your keyword text. When using SEO strategies you have to put the exact keyword in the exact spelling in order for the search engine to pick up what you want it to pick up.

If you have 250 words in your text you will want to include at least 5% of it as the keyword. The problem with Google is that it values old pages too much, you can have a new very informative website but you will probably not be in the top 10 for your main keyword if it is a very competitive one. There are plenty of engines out there that you will be able to check your keyword density in, you can search for them by going to a search engine and typing in “keyword density checker.” You should always place the most important writing around the top of your article.

SEO takes time but it is fun and there are always new things to learn since the Search Engines change their algorithm once in a time, if you have a web page and you follow the SEO strategies you are sure to have more hits than ever to your web page, you just have to find the time and patience to write your own SEO articles, be sure to mention that word that you are aiming for in there a lot though and you should have no problem with your SEO.

Google is the most complicated one but I read somewhere, better you optimize for Google and the other two will follow. Most techniques mentioned in this article are free strategies that only require your time.

Great ranking on the Internet is one way for a business to turn a ho-hum web presence into a virtual cash machine. If one has the time and experience to do so, getting a website high in the search engines can make you a fortune. You have to be willing to learn how to do it right and understand it’s going to take time, money, and an ongoing learning process to see optimal results.

Observing the set forth gauges for search engine optimization can make the difference in great placement or poor positioning within the engines people use to search with. Remember, a search engine is how your customer finds you. If he doesn’t find you, he will find your competitor. How relevant your key words are to what you’re selling will make the difference between a hit or a miss of your customer seeing your web site.

There are a few “must do’s” for search engine optimization to work for you. Passing over any of them will lessen your results. How your site is laid out, the main key words or phrases chosen for your site, your page titles and usage of your headline fonts, and a lot of good and extremely targeted content. Poorly written copy is also a no-no. It’s a fatal flaw to any business. You also need to understand back linking and have a back link game plan. Get as many back links from similar sites to yours and your site will do much better than if you get back links from sites that have no relevancy to what you offer.

One place you never want to fall short on is the copy on your site. Take special attention here. Make sure you have several people read it over. Correct any errors, even if they seem silly to you. If you simply copy and paste your web site text from you’re company marketing piece, that’s not going to cut it. Don’t stuff your web site copy with keywords or phrases unnecessarily. This not only makes it read poorly but the search engines could consider it spam and your site could lose it’s positioning in the search engines.

Keywords within the text of your web pages are the most important consideration for Google. Font information and where (on your site) your keywords can be found is another. Google always seems to return better search results than other commercial search engines.

SEO methods, which worked six years ago, when Google was in still in diapers, will not work today. However, much of the top ranked SEO companies still employ these antiquated techniques and market a multitude of cool new gadgets, that while flashy in concept, do little to help build a strong online presence or establish a sustainable competitive advantage for their clients.

Search engines, along with directories, are always improving how they deliver targeted results. This means continual tracking, keeping up with the Joneses if you will, in order for you to maintain your high ranking. If you don’t keep up with the new situations within the search engines or directories you could, in fact, hurt your rankings a great deal.

Search engine rankings won’t sell your product. Your web site does that. If you overlook things like branding, customer satisfaction, transparency and traditional marketing methods when you create your web site, it will do no better than if you weren’t ranked at all. Internet business is not so different from real world bricks and mortar businesses. If your prospect doesn’t feel the love, perhaps your competitor will offer that. And that’s where they will buy.

You can boost your web site traffic today day, not tomorrow, today. It doesn’t have to be expensive and if you have got a few funds then by all means out source at sites like E-lancer to get people to do some of the work for you.

Blogging – do you own your own blog? If not you can set one up today for no money at all by using www.blogger.com or www.wordpress.com and start getting links to your site. Some of those links will generate their own traffic, so the trick is to get the word out about your post. What do you do is write a post with keywords related to your topic or niche, and then use the ping services to get the word out. Try using www.pingomatic.com and www.pingoat.com that will send your link out to lots of blog directories and sites. Traffic will grow the more you do it.

Forum posting – most subjects or niches on the web now have their very own forum related to it and you can join them mostly for free. Make good posts that people are interested in amongst the popular threads and you will get people clicking on your link.

Article writing – whilst some of the better article directories review your article before they post it to ensure quality some don’t, and that means you can get an article with a link to your site visible the same day. Other people pick up on them and put them on your sites all with your author bio box at the bottom linking to your site.

Use Digg – place a snippet of your story or news item on Digg and they list it on their high traffic site within a few hours, often quicker – a great way to get exposure and longer term build your links and longer term traffic.

Email your list – you should have your own list as they know you, trust you and hopefully will listen to you and look at what you have to say. I know some people that have lists of over 60,000. When you have built this up it is easy to get traffic to your offer whenever you want – just don’t email them too often.

Joint Venture – not always possible in a day but sometimes it is. If you receive a newsletter from another website in your niche then why not see if you can offer something of interest to them and their customers. Preferably this would be something you would do to offer some value – a free report, a product to sell and you would share the profits with the list owner. Some people have 1000’s on their lists and this is a good way to increase the traffic to your web site.

If you have a great website, but no traffic, then you may need to learn the basics of SEO. SEO or search engine optimization is the technique of making your website search engine friendly. You’ve gone through the steps of setting up your business, getting all your licenses and insurance in place and you’ve designed your site or hired someone to design it for you.

When a search engine user enters a search term into their favorite search engine, those search engines use a ranking system to return websites based on relevance and popularity of the site. The higher your site ranks in the search engines rankings, the more likely the searcher will click on the link and land on your site.

The key is to have your site in the top ten listings for your keywords. An effective working website is the most cost-effective advertising, marketing, informational and promotional medium available to businesses of any size. The trick to getting your site higher in the rankings is through the use of SEO. SEO is an ongoing process for your website. You can start by learning how the search engines compute their rankings.

Many people think that the major search engines have virtually every page on the internet indexed. Most people don’t look past the third page of search engine results when they’re searching for something online. It is not a well known fact that less percentage of all websites is indexed. Sites that are just copies of other sites won’t be listed, or if they are too new they may be passed over. There could be some technical problems with your site such as bad robot text, or broken links that keep the search engines away.

Using search engine optimization is the best way to get your site noticed by the search engines. There are literally hundreds of factors used by the search engines to rank you site and all are important.

If we presume that your site is not technically preventing the search engines from looking around, then there are some fairly easy ways to improve your ranking. Working with someone to achieve higher search engine rankings may take up to several months. The initial part of the project will come in the form of search engine submissions and Meta tag having unique content is one very important step in the process. No matter what your site is about there are ways to keep the content fresh and unique.

One of the most enticing benefits of using article marketing in your online business, is that it is completely free of charge, and is a method anyone can use to get free traffic to their site. The purpose is for people to find your article, read it and then follow the link to your site from the blog or other place they read it. Many places accept articles without any charge but they should be sites with a good page rank; within a relatively short period you should start to experience more visitors at your site.

Top sites are also viewed by search engines as authority sites so it is to your benefit in many ways to have your content accepted; by improving your standing, you will by default, also improve the level of trust people have for you.

If you perform this article marketing and submission process on a regular basis, people will begin to search for your material and trust your work. The purpose is to convince people of your abilities in the particular fields you write in.

The purpose of all this is to increase your credibility with the various search engines; by default this will increase the number of ‘organic’ visitors you receive that have searched for something your site has information on. If there are many websites which link with your website then it increases your website ranking which in turn boost up your traffic gaining. the greatest benefit of this is none of it is costing you a single dollar!

With article marketing, a number of links to other sites can be inserted into it and providing there aren’t too many you will not be penalized. Your article must have good content if you want it placed in many websites because this in turn will link back to your own website which of course will increase the website ranking.

It is not unusual for Google and other search engines to take months before they start to list a website. Although you cannot rush the search engines directly, submitting more articles and using the authority sites will help enormously.

Article marketing helps to improving the ranking of a site but in addition to this it also helps increase the amount of content at the same time which again improves rank. The visitors you attract have no idea most of the time you are trying to sell them something. Visitors are searching for information so the more precise and truthful you can be about whatever it is you are promoting the better.

This is the ideal time to highlight the benefits of the product or service to the visitor. It is important they understand why they are buying a product so this process is important. By doing this you are securing any order you make and will receive less refund requests.

Article marketing this way will ensure you will always get new visitors and retain existing ones; do not think for one minute that this is will be a success if it is only done the once! Another benefit is quality websites (like yours will be) have other websites link to them and use their content as well; each time your article is duplicated on other sites it increases the number of people who can use it. There are no charges to article marketing and is still the number one way to get traffic to your site; all you need is to keep supplying them with the information they are looking for in the form of articles.

Now that you have a website the next step is to get it found on the search engines. If you talk with a search engine marketing consultant, he or she will have certain recommendations about what you need to do to ensure your website shows up near the top of search engine results. Search engine marketing ensures that your website will have the ability to be near the top of search engine results. People who are searching for your particular topic will then be able to click through to your website, giving you prospective customers if you operate a business website.

If you talk with search engine marketing services companies to ensure you receive great traffic, much of the attention and questioning will revolve around how many incoming links you have, your content, and how your site is optimized around your main keywords. These factors help determine your ranking in search engines and whether you will show up in the top ten rankings or not. This article will explain six important factors in a brief period of time you should look for when doing search engine optimization marketing.

The first important factor a search engine marketing services company will look into is a competitive analysis. This will help determine which companies are in the top ten rankings for certain keywords and why they are currently there.

Another factor which will be examined is keyword research and what keywords are used and what kind of results happen with these. If you do not have the right keywords used, you will not have as strong of an audience visiting your website as you could have hoped for.

A search engine marketing consultant will then look at your page optimization. Your pages need to be optimized for the various keywords so that your pages will show up in search engine results for different keywords depending upon the content of a particular page.

Designing your website is usually done with sales in mind. First impressions are very important. It’s much like visiting the headquarters of an off-line company. For this reason, it is very important to keep good design principles in mind. Your site needs to be unable to reach the maximum number of people in the most styles possible.

Navigation.

keep your navigation simple. It must give clear direction on how to navigate your site. It must be uncluttered and easy to follow. Make sure you avoid confusion, if you’re visitor becomes confused. They were just leave it and go somewhere else.

Visitors come to your site, because they’re interested in the content. Let’s say you have a large number of articles or downloads available on your site, you need to make it simple for your visitor to find what he is looking for. You may do this by providing an SQL driven data base search, or just a simple index. By providing one of these features you have made it simple for your visitor to to be able to find the content they were looking for.

Your goal in navigation should be to keep it so simple that even a young child would be able to navigate your site. Multi tiered drop-down menus and complicated flash-based navigation should be avoided. If your visitor can’t work out how to navigate your site they will leave.

It is important to avoid confusion. If your visitors become confused you will lose them. At times your visitors will be deeply engrossed in surfing your site. Your pages must make it possible for them to know where they are, and how to get back to the main page.

Here are a few more ideas that you will find helpful.

#1 Do not use splash pages.

On some websites the first page you come to is a pretty page that welcomes you to the site and may also have something like “click here to enter”. This is a splash page. It serves no real purpose other than to be pretty as often they are highly graphical pages. The reason to avoid splash pages is to give your visitor no reason to click the back button.

#2 Do not use excessive banner advertisements.

Even the newest people using the Internet have trained themselves to ignore banner advertisements. This means you would be wasting valuable Web real-estate in using banners. It is far better to provide valuable content and weave relevant affiliate links into your content. This will lead your visitors to feel they want to buy instead of being pushed to buy.

#3 Avoid Audio

Have you ever visited a site and you are trying to concentrate on the content, but find the audio overwhelming. What did you do? There are a few options. One is turn down the sound on your computer or hopefully, there is a volume control on the site. If you have plenty of content on your site you will be better off not using audio. If you are determined to have audio on your site, make sure there is a volume control or muting available.

With thousands of Wordpress themes now on the market for free and for money you can bet it’s hard to decide on the top Wordpress themes, but I believe I have come up with a great answer to this burning question. Now there are many free Wordpress themes that are very nice and I use many of them but they can’t justify being number one on the list.

To be number one the theme needs to have some exclusiveness, but at the same time still be available to the general public. I’ve seen some very incredible Wordpress themes that are unique to just one person’s blog but in this case we won’t be choosing from that.

I have looked through the elite wp blogging graphic themes on the internet that cost anywhere between $20-$200 and I have come up with the elite wp blogging graphic themes.

It was a fairly difficult decision to come up with a winner for the top Wordpress themes but after viewing themes for a long time I decided on choosing the Revolution Wordpress themes.

There are currently eight Revolution wp blog templates for sale and each one of them are very well constructed and thought out. Each one of theme are constructed for a specific niche blog and I feel that the designs were kept simple enough to use and didn’t go overboard on the options.

The two graphic themes I like the most from the Revolution series is the news theme and the sports theme which are somewhat similar but both very nice article style blogging graphic themes. Article style wp blogging graphic themes have been very popular and I have seen them on lots of blogs recently, but most of the no charge article graphic themes aren’t very well constructed.

Now I don’t have much coding knowledge so this is why spending a few bucks on a well constructed wp blog theme is worth it. With a revolution wp blog theme you will stand out and look like one of the top dogs of blogging.

Now this exposure is excellent when starting out a blog and this is why I give the Revolution wp blog templates the number one wp blog theme.

If you have an online business and you want more customers, we suggest you consider article submission. The benefits, regardless of the size or type of website are incredible. You obviously want to do what it takes to grow the business, which is where free article submissions come into play.

Today, online businesses are all vying for many of the same customers. That means they need to do something unique but proven to be successful in helping grow the business. While there are a number of strategies, an article submission works.

Today, there are many great free article submission directories to look at. For this, you would need some well written articles, which you would then submit to the article directory. Remember, if you have the skills needed to write a good article that would be great but if you do not then you can always spend a little money to have a professional writer create compelling pieces.

One of the fastest growing and most powerful strategies is with online article submission. Again, using well written articles that are sent to an article directory, you have an edge. Consisting of a database, these directories hold articles that tell your potential customers about the products and/or services you sell.

The thing to remember with an article submission directory is that not all are created equal. For instance, some of these directories are 100% free. However, other directories will charge a fee, which varies depending on the directory site.

In addition to the directory, the articles written also need to be carefully considered. The goal is to have several great articles that will provide your potential customers with information about products or services sold while other articles would enhance your offering. With these articles going through the article submission process, you will definitely gain more traffic to your site.

For instance, articles could talk about the benefits of the products and/or services that your online company sells. On the other hand, you could write an article that would complement what you sell. Take the example of you having a women’s shoe site, selling brand and off-brand shoes.

For the online article submission, you could have articles that talk about the very brands you sell. Then in addition, articles could discuss the importance of good foot care, promote foot care products, and so on. By using a variety of approaches with the articles, you reach a much broader audience.

Remember, whether you write the articles or have them written, you want all articles going to an article submission directory to be well written, free of typos and grammatical errors, and loaded with good information. The key is not to be too pushy. Sometimes, the small amount of money spent to have a professional accomplish the goal is money well spent.

You also want to look at the directories as mentioned because some are free while others cost a little bit of money. Even the free article submissions work extremely well. For that reason, if you find some directories that look great but do not cost anything, never assume they are lower quality.

Sometimes it is difficult to start, no one starts at the top. Almost all of us have to overcome one major obstacle in the beginning.

To get past the obstacle of having a tight budget to begin with you really have to learn how to market yourself creatively by asking yourself some simple creative questions.

Ask yourself:

1) How can I

Another creative question starter:

2) Who could help me with I love that one. Who could help me with

Here’s another one:

3) Who do I know that would exchange for ?

Here’s another one:

4) How can I do this faster, with less effort, cheaper? Could I do this for free?

Here’s another one:

5) How could I substitute ‘XYZ’ for ‘ABC’? How could I substitute ‘X’ for ‘Y’? Or whatever you want to do. What could I substitute for ‘XYZ’?

If you answer this question you will really be putting yourself in the mind frame of some of your unique and different customers:

6) How would solve this problem?

A good example: How would my mentor solve this problem? How would my four year-old daughter solve this problem? It’s a great question because it forces you to think from a different perspective.

I can confidently say that these questions, as well as others, have allowed my creativity to grow and have opened all kinds of opportunities up to me. The success of my career can be credited to my creative thinking.

Here is an example of how I used this creative questioning to overcome an obstacle early on in my career.

I decided to become a professional speaker as soon as I was done University. My focus was speaking to college and high school students about the topic of creativity. I focused on creativity because with it I was able to move from a first year failure in University to graduating being named Most Outstanding Male with straight A’s. I changed a lot between how I did things in first year to my last year, and I credit a lot of it to learning something I had become very passionate about, creative thinking.

Being a professional speaker and building a profitable speaking business was two things I didn’t know anything about though.

The first thing I did was join the local chapter of CAPS, The Canadian Association for Professional Speakers.

I remember going to one of the local chapter meetings and there was one guy there that was doing very well in his speaking career and I asked him, “What do I need to do to get to your level?” And he said, “Well Stu, it’s very simple. I’m going to give you three things to do. When you’ve done all three, then come back to me and I’ll give you some more.” I said, “Okay.”

He said, “Number one, you need to join CAPS. You need to surround yourself with like-minded people, who are working in your industry and can help you grow.” I said, “Okay.”

In order to join CAPS it cost $200, which at that time was a squeeze. Thinking back on it I remember paying for it on payments in order to be able to do it. I did number though, I joined CAPS.

Then he said, “Number two, you have to get out to the CAPS National Conference.” And I thought, ‘Man, how in the heck am I going to get out there?’ It was on the complete opposite side of Canada. The seminar itself was relatively expensive. Anything for me, at that point, was expensive. I had no money. I had to pay for my flight and all that nonsense.

I needed to find a creative solution. Here’s what I did. I asked myself some creative questions. What I started to do was look at what I had that, perhaps, somebody might need and want.

At this point I wasn’t speaking very often because I had just started my speaking business. This allowed me to have time. Time to be able to do other things for someone else.

Then I started to say, “Okay, how could I use my time to benefit somebody else?” From that question I came up with a campaign, and I called it Help Stu Be Like You.

But here was the concept and here’s what happened. I approached the biggest chapter of the CAPS organization in my province and I asked for 30 seconds in front of the whole group. There were about 75 of them.

No one had asked for this before. I asked a question that got everyone’s hands in the air. It was, “How many of your, at one point, started off as a speaker with no experience?”

I said, “Great. How many of you have attended the CAPS national conference before?” And about 75% of the room had their hands up in the air.

I continued, “With experiencing the national conference, how many of you with your hands up belief that it would be beneficial for somebody with zero experience to go to?” Everyone who had been kept their hands up.

I said, “Great. Because I am somebody with zero speaking experience that you just said needs to get out to that CAPS national conference.”

I continued by saying, “But, here is where I run into difficulty. I don’t have any money, just time. Here is the exchange I am willing to make and I hope you are to. ‘Help Stu Be Like You’ is a campaign that I have created.” At this point I handed out a small flyer to everyone in the audience. It basically was a 8×6 black and white flyer that I had printed at home on 8-1/2 x 11 sheets and cut down the middle to save on costs.

I began to explain my campaign. “This is what I am willing to do. Anything that you as speakers don’t like doing, don’t have time to do, or just need an extra pair of hands to do, I will do it. Sales calls, creating sales letters, licking stamps, anything. I will even come to your house and cut your lawn or wipe your baby’s bottom if that’s what you want me to do. All I’m asking in return is a financial contribution of your choice.”

I could see some of them in the audience were just licking their chops thinking, “Oh my goodness. This is awesome. I’m going to get cheap labor.”

I finished up by saying, “Whatever you don’t like doing I will do, in exchange for an financial contribution of your choice. Everything I make from this campaign will go directly towards getting me out to the CAPS national conference.”

I finished explaining my campaign and immediately a gentleman at the back of the room stood up. He said, “Stu, I will pay for your entrance fee to the seminar.” Just like that, half of my costs were taken care of!

Another gentleman stood up right after him and said, “Stu, don’t worry about paying to get out there, I will take care of it.” In a matter of five minutes 85% of my expenses needed to go were taken care of.

That is what being creative can enable you to do.

By asking myself that creative question, I was able to come up with a solution that got me out to the conference and my entrance fee paid for. By the time I got there it had turned into a big story, the national CAPS publication had written a story about me and I had all kinds of people coming up to me asking me questions.

Always remember to explore your creativity and may ideas come to you when you need them the most.

Paid search is a fantastic way to drive web traffic to our site from the major search engines. It can also suck our marketing budget dry in just a couple of days if not done properly. The bottom line is someone is going to profit by implementing paid search. The question is, is it going to be us or the search engines? The goal of the search engines is more clicks. The more people click on our ads the more money the search engines make. Their strategy is to get as many clicks as possible within our budget are willing to do that all day long. The real goal should be “fewer clicks, lower cost with more conversions”. Let’s take a few minutes to look at some strategies that should make a difference in our campaigns.

1. Do not use Content Network in Google when you first set up a campaign default setting is set “on”. There are two things that you need to consider before turning on the content match. The first is: “The website that is hosting our ad gets paid every time someone clicks on the ad”. Most click fraud happens is when an owner of a site clicks on these ads. The second is: “Individuals who click on these ads are most often, at the research end of the buying cycle. Limit those who click on your ads to those who are on the buying side of the cycle.

2. Search Terms. The more general the term, less qualified the lead and the more the cost. What I try to think about what terms are going to get my ideal customer to my site.

3. Keyword “types” There are three types of keywords “Broad”, “Phrase” and “Exact”. The rule of thumb that I use is: for single word phrases, use exact match and for search phrases that are two to three words, used “phrase matching”. I am also experimenting with using “exact” matching for these terms as well. The more specific the search term is to what you are offering and who your ideal client is, the more qualified to lead will be. Better a small number of qualified leads than a large number of leads that waste your time and ultimately cost a lot more money.

4. Just a couple thoughts on writing copy for ads. When you write your ads put the following in your “headline” box: keyword: “your main keyword. This will put your keyword phrase into the headline. Your ad should be specific enough to attract only your ideal client (someone who is looking for exactly what you have to offer). Your ad should contain at least one of your “unique selling propositions”. This can be very challenging because of the space limitations. Rule of thumb, find out what your competitors are doing and do something different. For example, if everyone is offering free shipping, use one of your other unique selling propositions.

5. Landing Pages. You need to put a lot of thought to your landing pages. Your landing page has to do one thing, that is, answer the questions are up that the searcher had in mind when he typed in his key words. The searcher type in his search terms because he has a problem, needs a solution and is in some kind of “pain”. You have about two seconds to convince him that you understand what he is going through and what he needs. The last thing a searcher wants to see see how great you are. They just don’t care. You must show them that you possess the answers to their needs. Don’t just send them to your home page unless your home page can accomplish the above. Once you connect with your searcher you must have a call to action. It can be a “buy now”, “for more information contact us”, “contact us for a free evaluation” or “free consultation”. You must be very specific and clear about the next steps. Have your “phone number” or “contact us button” on every page.

6. Track everything. Paid search is not an exact science. It takes time to set up and optimized your campaigns to get the results that you are looking for. Monitor your campaigns weekly to catch market changes, account issues or even site issues. Google, Yahoo and MSN have free tracking tools that work great.

Paid search is a great marketing tool, if used correctly. It can also, as stated earlier; dry up your budget in a heartbeat. It is a lot cheaper to find someone who knows what they are doing and does this day in and day out to help you than it is to lose thousands of dollars trying to figure it out yourself.

The next, state the three areas that you’re going to cover, the “points” of the article. Points of the article: Point1 Two or three sentences, Point2 Two or three sentences, Point3 Two or three sentences. Conclusion: Encourage reader to think about what are they are going to do now. Make some suggestions on what to do next. Invite them to look for upcoming articles on this topic or related topics. Finally: Edit your article for spelling and grammar.
